The reason all the old people left is because:

A) New people came
B) They grew up and realized this place is pretty bad
C) Forum got worse

Every time I see you post, you're always being a jackass. For no f*** reason you post negative a** comments. All the time. And you're always like "man the spam section is a bunch of wanna-be's", even if its true you never shut the hell up about it. I think you want to be them. I agree with Kyuubit even though I think he's annoying as s***.

I'm hardly ever here because most of the users are either 13 or completely unable to stay on topic & hold a relevant conversation

Sometimes I'm positive, but most of the time I see everything in a glass half empty way.

And I see spam so negatively because I think it's a waste of space.
I used to be in it, and then I left because I thought it was f*** retarded.

The last time I was in a spam board, people weren't barred for not being funny.
That's s***, and it was set up by the very people who frequent the section because they didn't want anyone who wasn't "funny" enough to grace their presence.
And this is despite the fact that most "humor" there consists of references to memes and the most of the members aren't very funny to begin with.

Second, most of the topics in spam could fit in other boards.

My issue with spam is logical at it's core.

Now, back on topic.

I never said the VIP boards were okay to have, nor do I really care.

What I can't see doesn't bother me.

Uh, what I meant is that I can't see the VIP section, so I can't be mad about that.

The thing is, there's already a Pokemon topic in Console Gaming, as well as a Mass Effect topic.
If we were to post threads about these specific things, they'd get locked because of that. If we just made them into posts in their respective topics instead of giving them their own threads, the conversation that followed would be entirely restricted to Pokemon, and it probably wouldn't get as much attention to begin with anyway. When posted in Spam, the people I actually want to talk to can see it, and if the discussion develops into further topics, we won't get told off for going off topic. Our trains of thought can just progress smoothly.

The problem is that it isn't what spam was made for.

Spam was made for incoherent psychobabble, not a bunch of nerds talking about their favorite pokemon.

I told myself months ago I would only log on for RP and to look around the music board every now and then, but I felt more confident and I decided to just try to contribute and be a nicer person than I was before.
