Ah, ok. That makes more sense, thanks for clarifying. Though, I still think Roshan would be the 3P. @Brik why

The theme is promoting discussion, your random joke vote is not.

No, the theme is promoting pages of useless filler posts that do nothing to help us win the game. See Ace Attorney mafia.
My vote is 100% serious. I actually want to lynch Terra.

"Discussion" that isn't really needed. Anyone can pull up the wiki and go "well this might be town, this mafia and this third party". In fact, everyone should do that.
What we don't need is wasting space with discussions about things that we have no clues towards at all. It's Day 1, do we really need to be going "will this person be 3P? or this person?"
No, we don't. Wanna know why? Because we don't know and we don't have any way of knowing at the moment.
preedit: ninja'd by brik, point still stands I suppose

You're talking about useless filler posts, then you boldly state your intention to lynch a player with no posts explaining nothing whatsoever. Who are you? DJ?

Oh yeah just as a heads up
College starts again for me tomorrow (technically today, why am I still awake at half past one) so I might be a little less active
Probably not going to be anything major, just thought it was worth mentioning

I guess this theme discussion is essentially over, the consensus being that the third party is most likely Roshan.
@Brik can you please explain your vote and why you're so serious on a lynch this early in the game?

I'd like to say that the RVS should be used to gather reactions: while it is still, yes, the Random Voting Stage, the purpose of the RVS is to gather content in order to find scum etc. etc. When everyone is voting completely randomly things don't get any better, tbh.
The trouble with setup speculation is that it's really unreliable to tell whether people are town or scum since both of them are pretty much guessing on everything. I'd like to say something before I continue, and that's that people should give their views on everyone so far, or at least the people who interest them. Dephius does get minor scum points for starting the setup speculation, though, and I'm not exactly a fan of Genis' explanation for the RQS.
There are a lot of questions asked by people, and not a whole lot of people actually contributing. imo this makes it even harder to discern alignment, so just make some post outlining who it is you suspect and why at this stage and we'll go from there.
Kyuubit and Brik feel a bit town for me, for their refutation of setup speculation. I'd like to ask both of you, though, who is your main suspect now and why?
Going with pure gut right now, my main suspect is Genis. Don't like the RQS and his coverup, and his subsequent participation in setup speculation. Dephius is not far behind, though.
Vote: Genis

oh Brik was trying to see who would get on the wagon, like a carrot to catch a rabbit
that's actually pretty smart
Brik seems pretty town to me in that respect, then

I'll be missing mornings due to classes every Monday through Friday, but I get home at around 4 PM.
Unvote
I'll read the other posts today and see if I can find anything suspicious.

Er, ok. RQS was mainly to get discussion going (which didn't work because everyone didn't want to do it anyway). I suppose it wasn't much of a good idea since we've done it so many times, but I was attempting to stray away from votes with s*** reasons. As for the setup speculation, I just wanted to contribute some of my thoughts on the subject. However, I've yet to see why participating in trying to help the town could make me mafia, but whatever. Anyway, since I have school tomorrow and need to sleep, I'll probably tell you who I suspect later that day.

Currently, the only real town vibe I have is coming from Brik. Everybody else is just null at the moment.

Brik, this isn't Ace Attorney Mafia. New game, new possibilities, speaking the fact that Dota 2's characters fit your average Mafia roles. Take Jojo's Mafia for example. It was based off of characters from the Jojo's All-Star video game. According to Lucina ( now known as Franziska von Karma), Shoop's character (Weather Report) wasn't in the Jojo's All-Stars video game, which no one really seem to catch until the end of the game where it was too late. My point that i'm trying to prove is that in some way, the theme does matter. It didn't seem to matter that much in Ace Attorney, but I have a good feeling that for this game, the theme does matter. Pre-edit: Fixing a couple grammar and spelling mistakes.
