His combo game and F-Air is pretty based. Same goes for Ichigo.

F-Air to F-Air to F-Air will kill a man (I feel like N-Air is more suitable for most situations though). The aerial momentum you can get from Fire and Blizzard is also great.

A SH Blizzard could be a good approach option though it is situational as you won't have Blzzard all the time. But since it has good range, low end lag, and it doesn't stop or slow down your momentum in the air I don't see a reason of not using SH Blizzard as an approach option.

So I found a lot more things with :sora: in this game.

The first thing I want to talk about is his chain grab. He can down throw, run at the enemy and catch them for another down throw. This obviously works better on bigger targets such as :bowser: and :donkeykong:, but it still works.

Another thing I want to talk about is his FlowMotion. This move can combo into a lot of things, but mainly I want to talk about his forward FlowMotion to fair combo. This can kill at higher percents and can also be done with downwards FlowMotion. You can also potentially string more fairs with this for an early kill.

The final thing I want to talk about is his new kind of FlowMotion cancel. Instead of propelling you in a different direction you can just interrupt it with another type of Flowmotion. For example you can do the first half of downwards Flowmotion and the second half of upwards FlowMotion. This can be used for a lot of different mix-ups and combos.

Ill keep finding new things and I hope that the rest of the community can find things too. Once again I don't know if anyone else has found these so please don't flame me. :sora:

1) You might be able to buffer a pivot grab, similar to 9b.
2) Nice, might give FFlow a use at long last.
3) That's been around since 9b. It's called a Flowcancel.

You should check out the Sora discord.

Whoops didn't know it was tech chasing lol. I also din't know you could Flowmotion Cancel without propelling yourself in a different direction. Out of curiosity did anyone pay attention to the combo I put on page 1. It has lots of potential I think. (Honestly I just want to contribute in a great way.) Thanks for correcting me on my mistakes and I hope to see more talk about this character. :sora:

Nah for Sora Dthrow->dthrow is indeed a chaingrab since you're grabbing them out of the air in a "chain" of "grabs" VS them landing on the ground and you "chasing" their "tech". Doesn't work on fastfallers tho since they actually hit the ground before you can grab them.

Also, in an unrelated vein of thought dair->dair is literally the best.

Is it me or does Thunder feel a bit weak? For me it doesn't kill until 130% unless it hits with the tip

Is there anyone else here that doesn't like Aerial Recovery? It's just Finishing Leap without a hitbox, essentially, and it made Sora lose a lot of combo potential in the end. I'd be mighty fine if he had the former move again.

I don't like it either. The new recovery is literally a third jump you have to press Up-B for. Yes, you can follow it up with another move but it should at least do something on it's own.

I mean, you can side-b out of it or attack while recovering

It's literally a third jump, you have 5 aerials to use while in mid-animation, and that's better than one imo

If you don't like Aerial Recovery then you aren't playing Sora right.
His up b is much more useful than his 0.9b one.

I really have to question the developers' decisions on this; there should have been no reason to change Finishing Leap into Aerial Recovery whatsoever. They could have just slapped on the added ability to act out of Finishing Leap with Flowmotion, and called it a day; in fact, they should have just done that from the beginning instead of making a choice that was a nerf to Sora.

Also, the 2-hit jab is something I don't like either. It just felt more fluid with Sora having a 3-hit jab that was more iconic and not Samus-y.

There are just times where I wish the developers could rethink their decisions on certain things with characters. They could easily revert these two little changes, and it'd make Sora monumentally better both in playstyle and in feel. Having a completely unsafe Up B doesn't feel good and having a 2 hit jab that's kind of clunky definitely doesn't feel good either.

I'm perfectly fine with these changes. It actually made me play him better than in 0.9b :chibirobo:
