Dun! DUN! DUN!  Five-minute edits for the win. The process: 1. Sign-ups will be accepted until one week after the game thread has been posted, with a maximum allowance of fifteen players. 2. If, after one week, there are fewer than 15 people signed up, the game will begin with however many players have joined. 3. When the game begins, all players will be informed of their alignment via private message. At this point, everyone will select a playable character that appears in Super Smash Bros., Super Smash Bros. Melee or Super Smash Bros. Brawl. (This means no fan-game exclusive characters.) 4. Based on alignment and character selection, I will create a role for each person. There will be no vanilla townies or mafia goons.* 5. When (total number of players – 2) players have confirmed their roles, the game will start. *Exception: If everyone picks Meta Knight, the setup will be mountainous. (i.e. no power roles whatsoever.) Important things about this game: 1. This is a full reveal setup. After a player dies, their alignment, character choice and full role PM will be posted. 2. This setup uses a Bankable deadline system. All day phases are guaranteed to last at least one week. Day 1 will last for a maximum of four weeks. Any time left over when a day ends will be added to the allotted time for the next day. There will be no deadline extensions. 3. Voting works a little bit differently. As in traditional mafia, you may vote as many times and for as many different people as you wish throughout the course of a day phase. However, once placed, a vote stays on its target for the rest of the day. Note that players are limited to one vote per post. In the event that a player votes for more than one person in a single post, neither vote will be counted. Example: Player A votes Player B. Vote count: Voting [Player B]: Player A. Player A later votes Player C. Vote count: Voting [Player B]: Player A. Voting [Player C]: Player A. Multiple votes on the same person will not be counted. Nice try. Rules The following rules are based on those from McLeodGaming Mafia VII by 194, which are themselves an evolution of the rules by Dark Ermac, the founding father of McLeodGaming Mafia.
