Tails' design in Sonic Boom is pretty great though. At least imo. I always liked the goggles from Sonic Riders. Eggman's new design looks amazing.

I've personally always been a fan of the slim spagetthi limbed designs from the Dreamcast era, but I'm not against Knuckles looking like this; it really allows him to get back to his original goal of being the strongman. The character has been portrayed really unlikable the past few years (not too suprising, considering his role of strongman and rival got stolen by other characters more then once) and I think this may very well be his way to becoming likable again.

Also apparently the guy doing the designs for Sonic: Boom also did the designs for Jak&Daxter and he seems to like bandages as much as Square Enix likes belts so yeah.

The game looks fun, doesn't really look like a sonic game, but hey, that's a good thing.

I really like Sonic and Tail's designs.

Amy's isn't bad either but from the looks of it they turned her into a badass for some reason, which is way too different from her previous roles. It's like a different character.

But Knuckles, what the f*** man.

I honestly don't have a problem with anyone except Knuckles, but that's just my opinion.

It looks as if there might be 4P Co-Op.

I actually like Tails's design a bit. It's the only one that looks kinda like it's previous design.

I don't like sonic, but it's not bad neither. I think that the bandages in his hands doesn't fit, and that collar/scarf thingy he has it's completely out of place. Also, I don't like him to be so tall.

imo they destroyed amy and knuckles. Specially knuckles. He was turning into a bit of a unmemorable and useless character lately, but this is seriously terrible.

I have nothing wrong with any of the designs honestly. Amy looks a bit off and Knuckles is huge but it's not too bad to me.
Really the only things too strange are the main 4's designs. I want to see where this goes.

It's not that i don't like scarfs (actually I think that link's scarf in hyrule warriors is a great detail!) It's just that I think that it doesn't fit with sonic. Maybe it could have worked with tails.

I am impressed no one mentions about Sonic boom using dubstep music on the game, :S

Anyway, i still not understand the overuse of bandages, the damage it's already done.

In the desert, people wear scarfs to protect their faces/mouths from sandstorms/dust (see: Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception), Sonic kicks up a lot of dust as he runs at high speed.

Granted, he doesn't actually use it to cover his mouth, but still.

when you put it like that, it makes sense. but idk i just don't like looking at it
