The number of votes doesn't matter, it's the reasons behind the votes. If people vote stupid characters with no good reasons then nintendo won't choose them.

Just popping in to post my two cents.
This Ryu/Roy leak is s***; Sakurai himself said traditional fighting game characters won't be in Smash. This "leaker" should've gotten his facts straight.
As for Roy, we have Lucina. I'd rather have Roy (make him a skin for Marth, idk) but we don't need all three of them.

Ok, then explain to me this; why is there no trace of these files in the Wii U version?
Why isn't Ryu's alleged victory theme remixed like LITERALLY EVERY OTHER CHARACTERS'S VICTORY THEME.

These files are directly from the game. The sounds that are there are most likely placeholders for when they decide to make remixes. Developers do that all the time when it comes to music. This isn't a "is it real or fake" leak, it's been spotted by many people through rom dumping. We have to wait and see what nintendo does with them, but it's more likely than not that we're getting these fighters.
Edit: Also, looking at the latest update to the reddit post, it seems we may also be getting either Dreamland 64 or Fountain of Dreams as a dlc stage if those kirby songs have anything to say about it (FoD is my favorite melee stage I want that one so much)
