some characters should have air dashes. By double taping side buttons, specific characters should be able to air dash. Air dashing shouldn't last very long though.

no not as a move but as a sort of added ability. Meta Knight has wings and Goku can fly, so give them the ability to dash in the air, as if dashing on the stage.

Goku already has his hover and meta knight really doesnt need any more air mobility.
Might be an interesting mechanic for a later character somewhere down the line, but it would most likely be a side special or something.

Once again, that Chibi Robot suggestion was my opinion, I understand how much effort the devs took to make this game. However, the dashing should be automatic. In brawl (Which uses Wii D Pad), this sliding dash kick applies automatically. And the cape is hardly effective in my opinion and the flipping power should be increased.

Im not sure how i feel about rolls being vulnerable during the startup.
Also can mario's cape please still turn you around while you are in shield like it does in the main games? The anti shield grab mind games would be real.
Also heres a biggy: Can we get the ability to store our control set up in MGN? and Can we log into MGN without actually entering the online lobby?
These 2 features hand in hand could make holding local tournaments a lot faster, seeing as there's like an infinite number of possible control set ups in game. Honestly these features alone will probably make SSF2 tournaments more common, as holding said tournaments will become a whole lot more practical.
(and idea for TOs would be to have would be participants to send in their Xpadder / Joy2Key configs, and have a community agreed default control set up for using gamepads. If only SSF2 had joypad support that wouldnt be needed, but LOL flash)

Since we've got taunts for "disrespects", it'd be really cool to have a move or something to acknowledge a good play from the other player. Since it's not really necessary in offline play tho, it could work like taunts in online Brawl/Sm4sh where you can write a message.
Also regarding online stuff, I think it could help grow the community to link to this subforum when in the room's lobby. I know there are plenty of people that play a lot but haven't joined here and advertising about a community/place to discuss and get better could be very appealing to them.

A deeper training mode- Just what it says. It needs like practice missions, like how to punch, kick and move, how to shield, and how to do basic recovery, and how to do advanced techniques, like air dodging and perfect shielding, ,maybe 15 or 20 of these missions will get someone used to ssf2. You could unlock new missions by completing the previous ones and maybe even unlock the art of the Shffl. You would fight against sandbag at first then at the ends if each technique you could try then out on someone . Maybe a reward for completing it once would be the waiting room," which is where the training takes place, and sandbag as an item, and for completing it with everyone (starters), you could unlock a character? idk.

I would really like if you could decide whether you wantd to save the replay during a match rather than having to remenber afterwards. I constantly forget to save things I want to save.
In my opiniin, cooldown time should always outlast startup time.
Also,Lloyd and Megaman need moveset revisions to fit with everyone else.

Lloyd just needs an actual moveset that isn't meh. Megaman is fine imo I just think he needs a sprite update.

The cellphone keypad in SSBB was one of the most awful ideas in that game and one I thoroughly despised as it made typing anything in the game take forever. It was already questionable on a console game but on a PC game where one has access to an actual keyboard? It baffles me and I wish that particular design mistake from SSBB had not been copied in Smash Flash 2. Likewise, I support the suggestion to have a larger character limit for player names.
One feature I'd like to see return from SSB & SSBM is setting up the strength level of players & CPU opponents (attack & defense values). Likewise, regarding starting damage percentages, I'm bothered that we can't set different starting values for different players.
One little detail I'd also like is a credits page. Namely, a page that shows where every piece of graphics and music come from (as rips), who edited/created them (in case of being edited or original), and what not.
Not sure if any of the above would be realistic to implement but well, that's my suggestions. Of course, personally, I'd also like to see more single-player & cooperative content but I understand it's probably not a priority at the moment.
