Try using Pit's Side Special offensively instead of just a recovery tool. It's more useful than it looks.

What are Pit's combos and what is the best way to setup sideB kill? I think he's a good character and fun to use but I think his sideB has too much start lag. (P.S his sideB reflects projectiles at a 45ish degree angle)

The knockback is very strong, but then again his Side B can easily be beaten out by another move

When they nerf Isaac's Uair but not Pit
Anyway I might have said this before, but Bair and Dthrow are good throws that connect into Uair.

I don't really see it as broken, considering how Pit lacks a large number of kill options. It's very powerful, but also easy to escape from and read.

SDI is harder in beta somehow, and there aren't a lot of hits in Uair. Not to mention all the hits suck you in which makes SDIing out harder.

He was also against Pikachu on a low-ceiling stage, so not terribly surprising. Fox would have killed earlier his own Uair.

It's also apparent there was zero DI (he literally went straight up), so I imagine some DI in that situation, whether to avoid the combo or after taking the Uair could have led to possible survival. As someone already mentioned, Pit needs the power regardless.

Either way, I test this on even :captainfalcon: , and it doesn't do same knock back as it does to :fox: , but probably enough near 0% where :captainfalcon: can't recovery LOL (I maybe wrong).

Idk if the hitbox for the dair knock back is same as :luigi: 's though.

I tried this on :wario: and he couldn't recovery.

Tbh, idk if :pit: 's dair takes away all your jumps forcing you to up b to recovery. If it doesn't then :captainfalcon: maybe able to recovery and :wario: too (not including his waft for this). For :fox: , yeah i'm doubting it.

But if it does take away your jumps forcing you to just up b to recovery, then he might have the best dair in game (maybe).

Also, if you have D-Spec activated while :megaman:'s crash bomber is on you, when it detonates you won't take any damage and will possibly reflect damage onto :megaman: (if he's close enough).

His down special should be able to push opponents just like Smash4,so :pit: can use the orbitars to edge guard.
