They should do that. Even the original Xbox had one. However, they should at least have two disk slots: One for Wii 2 games and DVD's, and one for old Wii games and Gamecube games.

Why make 2 disc slots? I expect them to do something about it, but 2 discs slots? One mayy get confused if sleepy...

Just a thought. Maybe so the discs wouldn't get stratched or whatever, but you're right.

Simple fix, it wouldn't have 2 drives, but instead two channels. You can choose the NHD Disk channel, or the Backwards Compatability channel, that would choose the speed.

Well either way it's not our choice on what they do....
So I think this E3 is going to be like 2005's show off the the latest portable hardware, Current Home Console game line ups for this year, and unveil a new System!

No, we know of the strong rumors, and more or less the confirmation of the system by everyone other than Nintendo. Though, if it were fake, I'm sure Nintendo would have said something about dis-confirming it by now.
