The reason why demo 0.6 takes a looooooong time because Cleod9 has so much problem while doing it. Mostly because of the exams and the site problems. But since this is the summer holidays, maybe demo 0.7 won`t take long like 0.6.

And still, be patient!

Also demo 0.7 and onwards won't take as long because the devs will all work on programming characters now, not just Cleod.

On one hand, I'm glad we get a big piece of the action before the final release of the game every so often. But on the other, I don't want just a repeating sequence of demo after demo after demo. I don't want a huge portion of the full game to be ruined just because we had, say, 10 demos.

1. Some Characters doesn't have enough progress to code.
2. Some Devs don't have Flash to code Characters.
3. Some Devs don't know how to code AS.

And since pretty much everything was covered, there's not much left but content (items, characters, stages), and so it will take less time to do.

When he was making 0.6, Cleod doubled the in-game stage count in less than a day.

Uh? Exactly my point, since everything else is covered, now he just need to do easy things.
Stages are just about drawing lines and adding grabbing points (what least it is what seems to be in that game glitch, but ti makes sense anyway).

So what you're saying is that the new demo will have twice as many stages? Sweet! ^_^

But in any case, it still won't be worth the wait considering the near 11 months we had to wait for it. Not to sound ungrateful, but Cleod has a lot of catching up to do, but considering that he isn't a one-man army anymore, I doubt that will be a problem.

Well, maybe Cleod9 may put my 'Move-Swap' glitch in 0.6 :shifty: . If any one doesn't know about this glitch then please go to youtube and open 0redyoshi0's profile. You may also ask him here. Oh! almost forgot, is the result screen ready? (I'm only asking this from Cleod9, not anyone else). Did you wrote the character name and change the player colour with the character's screen during a match (this is also being asked from Cleod9)? I mean, for example: you are P1 and choose Mario, the other is _____ and you choose stage, then the colour of the thing that is at the bottom of the screen and is below Mario's picture where it should be written 'Mario' and tells you how much you are damaged (percentaged), was white for all players (which is the colour of CPU). Is that thing's colour according to the player? As following the example, that thing's colour should be red because you are P1. I don't know what this thing is called. Maybe it's called the 'damage meter'?
