Yeah, that's basically a little under what I've watched. I can probably say I've seen about... 30-35 shows, only including ones I've finished.

Oh and if The Simpsons doesn't appeal to you, watch that episode over and over again until the social satire has finally sunk in. There are an incredible amount of satirical techniques in one 30 minute episode. It's not until you study it that it actually becomes clear.

I'm not really an anime fan myself,i just watched about 5-8 animes since i only watch the best ones in my entire life and only spends 2 hours per week on anime,but seriously,american shows can sometimes suck though,no offences people
