SSF2 will not recognize my Gamecube controller, no matter what I do. In theory, it should be as easy as plugging in the Mayflash adapter, then choosing the adapter in the controls menu, but my PC doesn't even recognize it. Not even in other games like Rivals of Aether. It does work in Dolphin, but for Dolphin, I use the Wii U/NS mode of the adapter. If my adapter is plugged into my PC in PC mode, it WILL NOT WORK, and I've tried just about EVERYTHING. This includes:

-Reinstalling the driver software (multiple times)
-Restarting my computer (multiple times)
-Plugging the adapter into different ports on my computer
-Trying different input methods like Xpadder

Literally ALL I WANT TO DO is play SSF2 with a controller, but even that is proving to be a difficult task. I don't want to have to buy a new adapter/controller. What do I do?
