Based off of Ninkendo's "Useless Tech in Smash 4" series, I introduce to you:

USELESS TECH IN SMASH FLASH 2 beta


To start off, some useless tech:

Super Jumping

Basically, in turbo mode, cancel mario's up b with another up b for extra height
This is both useless and useful, as it can sometimes be used as recovery similar to footstooling
Technically you could super jump into the blast zone if you land every hit,
but i don't think that would work at all

Landing with Black Mage's Down-B at just the right time allows his animation to play, but without the meteor

You can continously chain dashing Falco side taunts and slide toward people while telling them not to try you.

If done at the right time, you can edge cancel taunts but the sound effect will still play

There's a kind of funny looking kind of crawling you can do (it works best with characters with a crawl that also can slide a bit while crouching, like Wario and Luigi) by holding down and (ideally on keyboard) rapidly tapping left or right, which causes the character to kind of slide around while rapidly switching to the first frame of the crawl animation. Notably this only works with crawling and not walking, as crawling has instantaneous startup.

Something similar to that:

Crouch Dashing










crouch while dashing.
It's quite self explanatory.

But that's just ordinary looking...

By "crouch while dashing" I mean:

Dash > Crouch > Dash > Crouch as fast as possible

Im pretty sure that actually has a use for some characters (Bag, Chibi, BBM) by drastically improving their ground speed.

Yeah, that's soaping.

That's where I got the idea

It's useful with a few characters but with others it just looks funny

So it's a little bit useless depending on who you're playing as
