So like if I put it to maximum online has more lag but if I put it to minimum it has less lag?

Technically quality settings do not influence online lag, but rather regular lag because less graphical effects = less stuff to generate = less effort for your PC, so it does help in the grand scheme of things. Online tourneys usually have a "Please use low quality settings" reminder for that reason.

if u have a booty pc and you pick too high settings its gonna lag the game which will make the online slower for the other player bc the games have to run at the same speed on both computers
