Generally with eternal life the idea is that your body is preserved at its current state, or at a mature but not senior state.
Otherwise it wouldn't be eternal life because your body would rot and w/e.

Depends on how the whole eternal life thing worked. If it just preserved your body at the height of health permanently, then it probably actually would.

Plus you'd go through watching everything you'd loved die.
And then the Sun would die out,Earth would be a cold dark rock until the universe ended its life span.
You'd be stuck a cold rock in complete and utter darkness because the Sun's dead and stars are all redshifted away.
Also, imagine being trapped under volcanic ash, sunken into the bottom of the ocean or pushed into active volcano.
