Got slapped by my friend today, took me till I got home to realize why she got pissed at me, just finished apologising to be honest.
So yeah my day was s***.

Ouch. You think that you and your friend will still be cool? Cause a real slap to me is like a middle finger in the face.

And how is a middle finger to the face bad?

f*** you = not a compliment
f*** you = insult
it's like his friend saying "f*** you" right to his face

No I'm quite aware of what middle fingers mean.

But how does saying f*** you to someone in their face make that person and their friend 'not cool' anymore, everyday people say f*** you to one another and yet they are still friends.

So explain how insults are now viewed as horrible things in society today, when they are thrown around in every conversation. Like this one,

"Hey man how was your weekend?"
"Great, because you weren't there."
"Hey man, f*** you."
Then the leave, later to repeat said process of conversation, don't even deny this isn't how conversations go, I witnessed it firsthand.

And not only dropping the f*** you card, like making homosexual quips to others, for instance.
"Y'know what I really like?"
"DICKS HAHAHAHAHA."
"Hey, man, f*** you."

Furthermore, we can't say we love our friends without looking homosexual, not that there is anything wrong with being homosexual, but in most of society it is, apparently, so if we can't express our love and happiness for our friends, then what are we left with? We insult each other for a laugh, we flick each other off, we make jokes about everyone else's mothers, etc.

So, again, how is considered bad, when we ourselves practice insults everyday and enjoy it, and if you say because we are backwards people, then is it really bad if the majority control society and we are doing what we are doing?

Dude, everyone pretty much lost all respect for one another, so any insult is regarded as normal behaviour. Okay, so let's say two people get in an argument and they do say f*** you, I seriously doubt those people would never have their relationship again.

yeah if someone's joking around with a couple of friends and everyone's in on the joke then "f*** you" is meant more light-heartedly and everyone gets that

but if two people in a relationship are actually fighting over something that happened, then a goddamn slap to the face most likely means their relationships gonna be on tilt or will probably burn to the ground. (unless this is a hollywood movie in which the chick gets married and the guy speaks out during the ceremony and interrupts and everyones happy in the end)
