Seriously, this news seems like a fad. The only sites that show this news are either news sites of discardable quality (tabloids, FOX) or weblogs.

Furthermore, I would suggest an explosive charge wow cause significant heat to desinfect a needle, but I am not sure. It would lead you to wonder where they'd get their supply of viruses from. They are a lot of technicalities involved (even when you accept that the Taliban aren't very religious) that make this just completely implausible.

What I should mention is that a link between the Taliban and the heroin trade, however, is obvious. Afghanistan is the world's largest producer of opium and it is a main resource of the Taliban.

There are stupid people who go inject piles of poopheroin into themselves, then someone else gets that same needle and injects poopheroin into themselves. Eventually someone who uses that needle has HIV and leaves it on the needle, then the next person uses the needle and BAM you got HIV!

Which has... No direct relation to shootin' heroin. You really don't know what proving your point entails, right? That person claims there's no reported cases of people being infected by discarded needles, then you go and say how people would end up using discarded needles. See the flaw in your logic?

The point is that to prove your point, you need to confront that peson with a source. You could use the Wikipedia quote I posted there, it is reliable enough for a silly internet debate.
