I don't even see how people could consider Ridley a playable character. That's like scaling down a huge giant flesh eating dinosaur into yoshi.

speaking of alts, i'd love to have a little echo and that comes with a dark link costume. that's what they did with ocarina of time with dark link's voice; it's just pitched with the actual code, it's not a separate sound.

That would actually be a pretty good option. Shadow Mario is a bit far off, and I don't know enough about Dark Samus to make a call, but now it doesn't have to have a Zero Suit form it could work.


Dark Pit, Link, Falcon, Kirby... I think most could work.

My longshot hope is Mega Man X, but I don't think that's likely for several reasons

dark samus is really different from samus
unlike mario to shadow mario (not taking brush into account) or link to dark link, dark samus pretty much defines herself with her own moves


the only reason dark samus looks like samus is because metroid prime tried to kill samus by practically suicide bombing, but samus managed to escape at the cost of an upgrade to her suit. you're pretty much just fighting your suit upgrade.

dark samus is totally viable as her own character in my honest opinion, i feel the only attack she would share with samus would potentially be the missle and even that would be different. she's probably my most-wanted metroid rep, with anthony higgs following her because he's also black

Also she should be an alt costume because Sakurai is a hypocrite and should kick himself in the nuts for going against the peer pressure of creating clone characters.
