Oh goody. After Zelda gets her greatest design ever in Skyward Sword, she sticks with her worst one of all time in the Smash series. Yaaaaaaaaay.

i liked twilight princess's the best personally and i don't really like skyward sword's design. especially the nose.

Actually, the next game that is coming is Kirby Triple Deluxe, which actually points to a Kirby character confirmation, most likely Dedede, due to his role in the game.

Back on topic, I really hope to see a new Pokemon revealed sometime in the near future.

I dunno, maybe I'm alone on this one, but I think of all the characters to get their asses kicked by Twilight Princess's nitty gritty style, Zelda got it worst. Nothing about the design says "Zelda" to me... Possibly because I just found her so uninteresting and unfulfilling in Twilight Princess itself.

Honestly, I wish they wouldn't do this kind of thing with the Smash games at all: I think in most people's opinions, Ocarina of Time is the quintessential Zelda game, and even those who would disagree would probably side with Link to the Past but say Ocarina had a better, more easily adaptable art design. For that reason, they should have never changed Link and Zelda's designs for the Smash series. In individual Zelda games it's fine to change styles, but Smash is supposed to be Nintendo properties distilled, and when you distill Zelda, you should get Ocarina of Time. Hell, I like Skyward Sword better than Ocarina of Time and I still think OOT's design is better for Smash.

But if they're going to, they should at least do it all the way here. If we're using Skyward Sword's coloration on Link, we should be using Headmaster's Daughter, heart-melting sweetheart Zelda.

Plus, SHE'S the goddess reincarnate. SHE'S best suited for combat

These topics are not just for saying "This is that new thing that happened". They are for voicing responses and opinions on said things, series and concepts and speculations. Whether we can affect the people making the game or not, we can affect our own responses to things so we can all better understand our own expectations and what we do and do not share with others. It's a conversation, not a news feed

That's unlikely, remember Sakurai only points out the Japanese release for a game to confirm a related character. As of now, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze has no Japanese release date yet, in fact, its name is not even known.
