I'm totally new to this. Can someone please tell me how to use Flash for various things such as making cutscenes and movies to making games. Please help me. I've got a great storyline in my head for a game, but I haven't an idea how to make it. I would also like to make it with minimal help so that I could take more pride in my work (sorry if this sounds selfish). Again, plz help if u can.

I would NOT get CS4, it's laggy, and has very few features over cs3, and trust me, I have a good computer.

I second that, having used 8 and CS3 for a while now - when I updated to CS4 i was eager to see how many improvements were made - to my horror they pretty much annihilated the program. The ONLY decent thing I have used on it so far is the Skeleton type tools but since that i've gone back to CS3. The layout options in CS4 are horrible - you'd have thought they would have given the option to use a traditional layout for those who have gotten used to it over the years but as far as I can work out, certain toolbars can only be left floating and not docked - something which has always bugged me - I like to feel everything has it's place in the window and not just allowed to float freely - others may disagree though

Oh, and if you don't have much money, you can get Flash 8 on Ebay for around $40.
