Okay, that convinced me to not watch it.

holy crap. I haven't seen a Pokemon movie since 4 i think and I'm simply blown away by the fact that there's now 12. There's only been 4 generations of games for crying out loud! That's 3 movies per game, for those of you who forgot how to do simple math.

But its not. It's about 25 pokemon games, maybe about 30. Then there was only one movie for the first season.

by 4 generations of games I meant just the original RPG for hand-helds. not spin-off stuff.
1st gen: red/blue/yellow
2nd gen: gold/silver/crystal
3rd gen: ruby/sapphire/emerald
4th gen: diamond/pearl/platinum

You both missed that in each generation there could be six or seven games in each totally around 24-28 games.

I am definently not gonna watch this. And how the hell does Ash get into these catastrophic events all the time?...It's like witnessing 9/11 all the time, once a year.

Now that they've already got the creator of Pokemon, where will the series go now?
Maybe they'd have some sort of "satan" pokemon.

IMO, the first three movies are the only ones that have logical explanations to them.

First Movie: Mewtwo invites him over for a battle because he thought that Ash was a good trainer.
Second Movie: He was mentioned in a prophecy that came true.
Third Movie: Entei steals his mom.

After that, it seems completely random.

Those still don't make sense. Pikachu's always getting his a** kicked and should've been forced to evolve, already. Why the hell is ash the one that has to collect the orbs? He didn't do anything else that a normal person couldn't have done. And why did Entei steal his particular mother? Oh, because she's the only f*** mother in the entire show. Misty only has sisters and Brock's dad is a lowlife. No moms anywhere. Ugh, even the explanations are broken. I still agree with you guys that he shouldn't be encountering EVERY f*** SINGLE LEGENDARY POKEMON IN HISTORY. I miss the old series! When it was much more gritty and entertaining! They had variety in the old show! None of that "Meets a new person in the next episode and Team Rocket does something to them and they have to solve it, then they leave." crap. God, what the hell is wrong with our adulthood.

Ooh! Ooh! I know! Pick me! Maybe it's cause we can't stop watching Pokemon!

and I heard that Pichu is somehow part of the plot of the movie.

Who the hell is going to run across on a bridge of the weakest pokemon ever.

Ash obviously.

Wait...I just noticed something. Ash met every single legendary Pokemon, except for one:

Raikou.

I've noticed a pattern in the Pokemon anime...

In each episode, it's all about Ash and Pikachu w/ friends going through a road, apperently they come across other trainers or pokemon and kick their asses. Then all of a sudden, but predictable, Team Rocket come out of nowhere in obvious disguises and try to steal Pikachu for the one-hundredth f*** time but get electricuted by Pikachu or blasted from a different Pokemon and blast them far away. But miraculously, Team Rocket survives the ordeal after being in a devasting explosion and falling 100's of feet up the air. And Ash and the gang continue on their path. In the next episode, you see them go further in a path and the pattern repeats again. Unless a c-c-c-combo breaker happens, like Ash finnally gets into a gym battle, gets into a tournament, a festival, meeting another team besides Team Rocket, a legendary pokemon appears out of nowhere or some other events...

But after that, the pattern repeats once again. The series never ends...Unless they stop making Pokemon games, which will never happen...
