ash was actually okay in the first few years of the show, like he wasn't smart but he was lovably dumb. after a little while he just went full blown idiotic and became completely oblivious to everything.

Yesterday i started watching the X&Y season due to me going through all the areas again in my game with a new team.
That second episode was enough to know this seems like a good watch compared to the black and white season

I just watched most of season 1, Ash can be an a** at times but I think for the most part he's likable.
