Some things I noticed from the stream:
Nair killed Luffy at 115% with really good DI Dspec aerial hitbox comboed Peach into the body hitbox and killed at 58% after the hit with pretty bad DI Nspec did 12% Suffice it to say, I don't think Pichu will be rocking the bottom spot on the tier list. _________________  For Doom:    For Kicks:    |

Not gonna preemptively say that i'm gonna main pichu when he's out but...

First impressions of Specials;
Neutral Special seems to be Electro Ball, it just floats along (Floats up if used on the ground, Down if aerial) and applies some juicy stun Side Special I'm gonna call Volt Tackle for now since Pichu gets all lightning'd up before doing it, no apparent differences to me Up Special I didn't see any difference in and Down Special is multi-hit and can spike, haven't seen how strong the impact blast is (When it hits Pichu) Any Devs here got insight? _________________   Stay groovy, wherever your travels take you.   |

So apparently clones are confirmed in the roster. I hope Dr. Mario's in there somewhere.
Also, I hope Pichu's Final Smash gets different properties. Maybe even a different FS altogether? If only Pichu didn't canonically take damage whenever he used electric attacks, he wouldn't be taking damage in Melee and here, AND thus wouldn't be bottom tier.
