You can phaselock him for instant damage, but that's it.
"The Bee" really helps; about 40k amp damage with no shield drain.

So I got a godly grenade launcher/assault rifle from Michael Maramil that was like 3x as good as my then-current E-tech assault rifle. That is possibly the greatest tribute you could give to a fan, make him the greatest giver-of-loot.

It seems like I'm the only one who gets bad loot from Michael. I pretty much just avoid him or sell what he gives me.

He gave me a s*** shield once or twice but it was all good, because the rest was all sick-ass snipers and SMGs and stuff.

Also, tip Moxxie... Alot. She gives you some bad a** guns once you tip enough. (The first one is always a really good unique SMG that'll help you alot)

I had 4 Moxxie weapons equipped once, it was a good time.
From what I've noticed, it takes anywhere from 8k to 100k to get one of her guns.

Want to hear a funny story that explains why not to play with randoms? My friend and I played through the end of the game together, and on the final mission his friend joined our game. He's a level 27 Axton. We kill (insert bossofgame) and he spews his loot all over. I go to look at the stats of a purple rifle he dropped, as I'm switching to my AR to compare stats, this a****** comes over and picks it up. I ask him politely to drop it so I can look at it for a sec. Upon learning it is better in every way then my current gun (and corrosivae), he picks it right back up and quips "I guess I'll use it when I'm a level 30!" f*** that guy.

I love the story of this game so much more than BL1. It actually has a narrative, for one thing. There are twists and likeable characters (although I think they ruined mordecai). The best part of the game though is Handsome Jack. Even though he's the antagonist, he's so hilarious that it makes me feel bad going against him. Reminds me of Wheatly in portal 2, but Jack's kind of humor is more my style. There's a point in the game where s*** gets super serious out of nowhere, you feel sorry for Jack and hate him more than ever at the same time, and its one of the best twists I've played lately. Praise this game.

How does everyone else like the story?

How they portrayed every character, especially Jack, was amazing, the story was great, even changed the story of the first Borderlands, in a sense. (Well it gave it more meaning, really) The story is just fantastic, and how you think, "Well Jack doesn't seem TOO bad, I'm going to rape this dude." Then a bunch of stuff happens and you're like, "Whoa, this is just so... HNNNNGG." And then you feel like a retard if you played the first game.


So yeah, super duper awesome story.

Yeah, I know what you mean by changing he first game's story. You essentially find out everything you did in the first game was Jack using you through Angel, just to get to the Eridium. I'd he cool if in the next borderlands, you hunt the new vaults and get to play as any of the old vault hunters and 4 new ones. Although, Roland's gone, mordecai no long has bloodwing, Lilith is overpowered, and I don't want to be brick anymore since he was kinda a douche in BL2. Gotta say though, the new characters are definitely awesome. Except Zer0. Zer0 sucks a**. He can't solo s***.
