I think you should do the "Main" icons for Every Characters
The current ones are really jaggy.

The original Ness sprite can be found in Sprjters-Resource
This is why Ness needs an Resprite.

That shading on the hair is kinda whack. It looks pretty flat, try making sure you make it more hair like, so you can see the individual hair bunches.
Sorry that I suck at explaining, I would link some examples if I could find any.

Since everyone is trying to make SSF2 recolors, I thought I'd show the forums how to make actually good recolors.   (Based on Smash 4 recolors.) i should fix up that light blue one
