Alright, uh.. seeing as NIS has come out with a few new games over the past few years (and another on the way), this has been bumped and made a general NIS discusion topic.

I'll start by saying how excited I am for The Witch and the Hundred Knight, seeing as its a break away from the standard SRPGs and more of an Action RPG. Glad to see the same artist though.

I've beaten 1 and 4, they're both super great. I've heard 2 and 3 were just "okay" but I haven't played them.

really wanna play the series but never got around to it maybe i will soon

1 and 4 are the best ones anyway so yeah

I finished the first Prinny game, which was pretty neat. Dunno if that counts though.

Just borrowed the first game from a friend, so I'm looking forward to seeing what the commotions all about

I've googled searched this but can't seem to find straight answers. Does anyone know which PS3 models can play PS2 games? I really want to try the first two Disgaea's.

if you want to play the first two games, just get the PSP ports

if you don't have a PSP then go get a PSP

I've been playing the s*** out of Disgaea 4 and I've made it to chapter 7. I'm on the part where the 4 Gate guardians come at you and s***. Can't beat it for some reason, should I go grind or something?

grinding is always the answer

Grinding is the only way to succeed in that game TBH, it gets old after a while but overall it's fun.

I've played all of the Disgaea games and can't wait for D2 to come out.

Oh, I actually forgot I even made this topic. But yeah, I beat that a while ago. Valvetorez is level 135 for me now and he was like.. 70? back when I couldn't beat that. I had to raise Fenrich to level 73(he was like 60) and val to 80 before I even beat it.

Should I mention Phantom Brave here because it's similar-ish?
