At TSF we have been planning a restructure of the clan. We are proud to announce the new TSF!


The most important change is that we are making our application process more stringent. This is intended to make new members feel more at home and to create a community of highly skilled players.

Because our new application process will be more stringent than before, effective immediately all current members of TSF save the four founders (CSWooly, MMLegends, Skailler, TheCodeSamurai) will have to reapply. The application process consists of two parts: the written application and matches.


If you want to apply to TSF, here is what you must do:

1. Fill out the application in the application thread. Include replays, if you have them, that demonstrate your skill as a player.

2. If TSF decides your application is worth pursuing, we will PM you and arrange 3 matches (3-game sets with the official BR ruleset) with 3 TSF member of our choice.

3. If you can win 2 out of the 3 sets, then welcome to TSF!

4. If you do not succeed, you may apply once more before Beta comes out.

That's why we r planning a restructure dumb.....To do something intresting...uff ppl these days!!!!

Generally, we wanted to move the clan in a different direction, and that starts with the player base. We're planning to do fun stuff with the clan, but in order for that to happen we need to start with the player base and go from there.

I don't think making people reapply is gonna help to take your clan into a 'different direction' to be honest. You are literally telling people that you want to improve the clan experience but forcing them to redo something they've already done (which must have taken a while). That's really demotivating.
Just some advice.

I appreciate the advice, and I think it has some merit, but I do think that we need to fine-tune our application process and if it takes a while to build it back up, that's fine by me. I'd rather take some time and restructure our clan into what I want it to be instead of keep it the way it is, which I think is sub-optimal. Those who have the patience to apply or reapply will, I think, be rewarded with a more engaging, unique, and useful experience.

We've decided that anyone who was a member of TSF before, NO LONGER NEEDS TO REAPPLY.

So if no one needs to reapply than we have a solid base then and we can continue with our plans....
