** pretty much my "f*** you" album of the month. figured it'd be boring if i listened exclusively to albums i have an 80% chance of liking
*** Hydrangea ga Saiteiru, if youre a huge weeaboo

could i have done a better job formatting? probably!
will the ADTR album turn me into a scene kid? we'll sce(ne)!
nothing really crazy. mostly within my comfort zone except for a few (choirs of the eye, leaves turn inside you for example)

these are albums i've never heard anything from, with the exception of Robot Hive/Exodus, Come Clarity and Nineteen Ninety Now (but i've only heard like one or two tracks from each)
looking forward to november

Like I said I picked In Silico because I thought it was the other one people liked (I've only heard Immersion), but I won't back out now. Might be fun to have a bad album on there I guess lmao

i didn't like in silico but i didn't like immersion very much either (crush is a nice song but that's all i really dig from that album)
you honestly might not hate it, plus, like you said, it might be fun to listen to a bad album

definitely check out hold your colour outside of the calendar thing though, it's a nice album
lmao I think Visions is really nice. Has a cool atmosphere.

I agree that Crush is the best part of Immersion, though. I find that album hasn't really stuck with me that much - except for that track, which is great. And I hear The Island Part 1 every time I listen to Devin Townsend's Save Our Now, which was inspired by the song

@Scott Soon It Will Be Cold Enough 10/10

leaves turn inside you is my favourite album of all time and more people seriously need to hear it. why do you say it's outside your comfort zone? it's mostly just a solid post-punk type album with unique songwriting, i wouldn't call it inaccessible or anything

also props for boris, flylo, the mars volta, blut aus nord, darkthrone, kayo dot and of course perfume. you're gonna have a great month

it was mostly a guess because i haven't checked out any songs from it and another site i frequent has Unwound tagged "noise rock/post hardcore/post rock"

so i googled said album and the genres list as "Post-hardcore, experimental rock, indie rock, math rock, noise rock, post-rock"

this pleases me, i'll give a go when this event is all done and i've noted which albums to start digging into, after party event anyone?

oh hey, turns out riff rain is an ep (how the f*** did i miss that)
so i guess i'll swap it out with something later. maybe i'll just swap it with amp-reflection, which i am 100% certain is an album by the same band

Wow so the forums apparently hate me cause it deleted my post for no f*** reason before I was able to post it and couldn't get it back. I had made this neat list of recs with details and all that nice stuff but f*** it I'm not in the mood anymore.

Yeah man, both seemed worthwhile, thanks for sharing. c:
and yeah I actually heard a couple of songs a while back and thought it was cool, but never heard the entire album so figured now would be a good time. Thanks.

also Blossom you're the first person I've ever met that likes Molotov, that isn't Mexican lol. Denso isn't really my favorite album but it is alright from what I recall though, so ditto on that cool comment.

had 2 EPs and now that I think about it, that's not good, so I replaced them!

Nixter your lack of GG Allin is disturbing the natural order of things.
