I got f*** rocked in boxing

Boxing has never been easy for me. Wrestling and jiu jitsu and stuff comes super easy to me but it's completely different to come in from a break from boxing and get my a** handed to me by some kid. Hurt my pride. I knew I was going to lose but I didn't think I would get owned like I was. Only way to get better is to get owned so my mom tried to make me take a break tomorrow but I made sure I'm going tomorrow and giving it my all and do twice as good. My dad gave me some help and told me stories partly about bar fights and street fights and how even when he occasionally lost, he never got discouraged. He said about how I probably feel like a pussy and a loser for losing, but he said in the end if I give it my all then there is nothing to be ashamed of. I wish I was like that. I can punch hard and I can get punched hard, it's not physical to me at all because none of it hurts anymore, it's all mental while I feel like a pussy when I'm getting my a** beat. I'm going on too long and probably can't associate so I'll stop here. Sorry

It is very mental, but you can't take losses so hard, I know it can be difficult, but it always happens, you're always going to lose at some point, but you're Dad is right, you just keep going, don't get discouraged.
