Charisma did as instructed, but it seemed she couldn't get it right for several tries... "Sorry... I'm not very outdoorsy." Said Charisma to Julius.

"I...won't have both of us cold. If...it...bothers you that....much. I'll share it with you."


"Um...." She hesitated. She knew it must be done to keep them both warm, but she didn't feel comfortable. "Fine..."

Julius looked at Charisma and saw that she couldn't get it going. He tried to get up and winced in pain as he moved upwards, now sitting up.

"Hand....me the torch, I'll get the fire going." He said. "I'm...sorry....if its uncomfortable for you.....to do this....use it like a blanket....It'll give you some space."

She nodded, handing Julius the torch and other supplies she had to start the fire. "Sorry..." It seemed as if she couldn't get anything right that day. Perhaps it was the stress of her entire village being destroyed. She would surely need somewhere else to go and live now. But she didn't want to think too much into that right now. She was focused on the task at hand, grabbing the robe and spreading it out.

Julius took the torch and supplies as he slowly but steadily got up. He ached, he walked over the an end close to the wall of the rock. and placed the supplies out before the cloak. He also walked over and grabbed his gladius, a basic combat blade he used and brought it near them, by the cloak. He took the torch and sturck it against, the rock once, and then again, getting a flame. He then ignited the arros after moving some of the snow away. He ingited the shafts and threw some bandages among them, enough for supplies and then went through the book and tore a few blank pages out of it, reluctantly doing so. It looked like it would be enough.

He took a seat against the wall, the fire was warm but not warm enough, the robe would be needed.

"Have...your tomes ready.....just in case." Julius muttered, his back resting against the wall.

OCC: I have bandages!!! I should really pay more attention to that other thread.....

Tania went back to Windy's side, worrying about Tekun, Rana, why her wounds had reappeared and the others as well. She reached into her pack that was slung on Windy's side, she fished through a bunch of items until her hand touched an unnaturally warm canister, she took it from her pack. Tania looked at the canister fondly, remembering her friend who had given it to her earlier. She opened the canister and unrolled some of the bandage, and wrapped it around Windy's wounded wing, and her ankle. Tania then bit it into a smaller piece to wrap around her arm, the warm sensation soothed her wounds. She climbed back onto Windy's back "We're back in business Windy" she said, cheerfully. "Now let's go look for Rana a lady never leaves a friend behind" They took to the skies, a bit shakily at first, but soon Windy was flapping her wings steadily.


OOC: So...do I have to wait for Rana to answer or can he be unconscious and I find him....I want to rejoin the group.....I miss them

Charisma took the robe near Julius, placing it over him. "She took her book out, having it opened to a page in case the spell was needed. "I'm just gonna sit by the fire for a bit, it'll be enough for the time being. I don't need the robe right now. But if I get cold, I'll use it... Promise." She said to him, as she took a seat near the fire and reviewed her book.

Nechis applied some of his leather strips to his arrow wound, after ripping the arrow out, causing it to bleed profusely. The man silently mopped up the blood with his hand, then washing off his hands with some snow. He still couldn't move below his knee all that well, but he was content with the stopped bleeding. He began to walk around, seeing if anyone needed anything.

Julius gave a smile and watched her review her spell book. He reflected on what had happened, she had lost her home and village, had nothing to go back too, he remembered what that was like, he had no home to go back too either.

"I'm...sorry all this happened. Too...lose so much." He said sorrowfully closign hsi eyes. "Charisma....i.....know what....your going through.....I have no home to go back too either."

Rana ran his fingers lightly over his shoulder. It was numb, but he wouldn't dare move it again. He needed a way to be found; he wouldn't heal with a sword in his flesh and he was obligated to keep the others safe. Rana slid his eyes shut and reached upwards slightly with his good hand. Small tendrils of darkness came from him, thickening and darkening and rising into the air. Then Rana reached out to Tania and spoke clearly and powerfully. "Tania... Look for shadows." He couldn't think of anything else to say.

"Yeah.." She looked up from her book. "But.. It's alright." She sighed, images of her village on fire in her mind every time she blinked. "We'll find somewhere to go.. I'm sure of it." She gazed up into the sky, lit by the stars. The light from the burning village and fire lighting the immediate area around her.

Windy was now flying powerfully, the bandages which had been blessed by a merchant mage had helped a great deal. Tania would have been enjoying the flight if she wasn't worried about everything and everyone.

"Tania... Look for shadows."

She didn't jump or gasp, Tania was becoming accustomed to his "thought speaking" she scanned the land below them, and saw what looked like shadows moving on their own. "That must be him, go down there Windy" said Tania pointing to the area below. Windy neighed then flew down towards the area, landing gently on the ground still fearing that her back ankle would give out on her. Tania slid off of Windy's back "I'm here Rana" she said, while taking the pricey healing bandages out of her pack and kneeling beside him to put them on him. She gaped at the arrow that was in his flesh. "I'm sorry Rana" she said sympathetically. She closed her eyes put her hand on the arrow's shaft and pulled it from his flesh, it made her skin crawl. She quickly wrapped a few of the bandages around his shoulder.


"We'll have to wrap it again later your arrow wound was very bad." she said. "We'll have to fly back to the others" She motioned for Windy to come over. The pegausus trotted over to her side, and Tania tried to help Rana up and get him up onto Windy.

"I...I know."Julius said. "We'll have too." He said looking at the village in flames in the nearby distance. It was darkish here, yet it was still day. The sun would not shine through the clouds for a long time yet, still it snowed. He recalled how long it had been, he wasn't sure, but it had been several years.

"Are you going to be alright." He asked concern in his voice.

Charisma thought for a moment. "Not sure..." She replied. "Maybe... I don't know..." She thought more and more, not knowing what else to say. "I.. I guess I'll be alright." She really didn't know, she hadn't expected her village to be attacked like that and then set ablaze.

"When....I was young...at around age 10, I lost my mother to illness and was taken in...by a noble. He raised me to be a knight....or tried....I detested fighting and after nearly dying in training.....I went off and left....with barely anything and no one to watch or care for me." Julius said. "It's....tough.....people....need companions....someone to look out for them."

Charisma nodded. "I'm sorry to hear that." She said, not knowing what else to say to him. "But yeah.. I know what ya mean, everyone needs someone there for the good times, and the bad times, too... It's hard to deal with things alone." She stated. The cold didn't seem to phase her. She was aware of it, but her mind was active and kept off of the thought that it was cold.
