Tania looked back at Rana, his thought-speaking was so helpful, she told herself. She waved down at him signalling that she was fine, and she continued to fly away. She looked behind herself once more, the whole village was littered with bodies, it was sickening, she looked around the area hoping to find a calm river, or some trees. On the horizon there was another city, Eton was right, but what if the thing that did this to the village below was doing the same at the other village now. She sighed loudly, why did they always have such bad luck, it was like they were cursed.

Tania saw a sliver of silver, it was probably a stream, or a pond. She led Windy towards the stream, only the pounding of Windy's wings on the air making a sound. They circled around it from above to make sure someone or something was near the water, she was hoping she'd be able to have a quick wash. Tania thought it would be quite soothing

Nechis stood back as Serene took a hit at Tania, knowing that he didn't know enough about the two to butt into the argument. He didn't think that Tania had done anything wrong, and he accepted that he shared his views, but the other girl needed to vent her anger. He simply had no place in the discussion. He briefly looked at the way Tania had departed, and decided to address his own issues.

Nechis stood in place, then began to pat his thighs is short rhythmic pattern, while he thought about what he should do next. He had certainly decided that taking from the dead was inappropriate, and that he was definitely against it. His thoughts raced, as the young man start to look around at his still ill-illuminated surroundings. He noted one particularly gruesome corpse, and shook his head after turning away.

Suddenly, he began to walk slowly in the direction of one of the buildings. He had a desire to see what this town had originally been like. It was strange, this town sent a chill down his spine. It wasn't even the bodies though. Even before they had entered the area, it was as if this town called to him. He decided to address this feeling, and slowly pushed the door open of the first building he reached, and peered inside.

Serene dismounted Black King. He looked at her with disapproval. "I want you to head back to Eton, and stay over with the group." she ordered with a sharp tone. "I want to continue looking around the area in peace. It should help me clear my mind."
Black King didn't like this at all, but he had to obey her, so he took off and flew back to where the rest of the group was.

Serene continued looking around the village, and suddenly heard a noise from inside of of the building. "What is that?" she muttered to herself

Tara's once-affirm demeanor now had a hint of troubled distress within it, surveying the terrain. She had mostly been lost in thought as they paced through the area. Taking a slight layer of indifference towards the rest of the group which she was; at least currently, straying slightly away from. lost in her train of thought, she had hardly even noticed the Pegasus Knight's departures. She would catch herself and stop, as if once again re-connecting with reality. The cool breeze helping to revitalize her senses.

Tekun had been next to her this whole time.. "Know you anything of this place?" she asked, turning her gaze towards his terrorized form. She asked out of the curiosity of wanting to get through here with some kind of knowledge of the layout, not knowing on what she may touch upon..

Though the others strongly disapproved of it, it was needed. Eton was a theif, he had grown accustomed to salvaging things for use. He had picked up two iron lances, a dark tome of some sort, and a iron dagger in total. Weapons were of no use to the dead. From nearby, he heard a noise. A curse word, something baout a bird. He turned to look at a pile of corpses.

"Someone there?" He asked.

Tekun closed his eyes tightly as he followed Tara.
"This is....my...." He couldn't bring himself to finish his sentence. The memory of the attack was too painful. He had lost everyone here.

The door creaked open, inside it was a room, at the end was a solider, pinned to the wall by a lance. He had peen long dead, hanging there limply as he dangled. Blood had collected below him. Inside, there was nothing, it looked like everything had been taken previously.

There was silence now. Things were quiet yet. Ahead there appeared to be movement, of something or someone. Whatever it was, there was no way to be sure without following it.

"I hear ya." Julius muttered back to Charisma. They could clearly see the front gate from here. Bodies lay about, one looked like it was just a mesh of meat now. Julius covered his mouth and stopped.

They circled around the small body of water and then landed silently on its banks. The place smelled fresh, and it gurgled joyfully as it flowed past. The water did not flow quickly, and it did not look too deep, she looked around, once more before, taking off her armour and outer clothes and stepped into the water. It was cold and it caused her to shiver violently until the water slapped against her waist. Windy followed her into the water, raising her armoured wings protectively, still feeling slightly uneasy about the village they were at previously. Tania took a rough square of soap made from sweet lavender and roses, and rubbed it on her body, trying to erase all the trials that she had gone through. She submerged her head into the water, and combed her fingers through it, loosening the knots and other assortment of things that had gotten into her hair. She came out of the water feeling refreshed, and began to wash the sheets and other quickly drying things she had in her pack. It was a time to reorganize her pack, as well as reorganize her own life.

The pile of bodies moved as Gabriel shifted uncomfortably. It had been a bad hiding place. He turned his head and was pulling himself away when some kind of liquid found its way into his eye. He squealed, threw himself back and howled. He wiped the fluid away and bolted behind a series of tiny shacks so as to avoid being caught by the strange people.


Rana ran his finger over the body's cheek. It was a woman's body; her face was slashed on one side and flawless on the other. Her skin was as cold as Rana's, and nearly as pale. He felt an odd, sickening connection with the bodies here. Rana snapped back to life only when he heard Gabriel's yelling. He stood and moved forward in time to see the new man running away.

Serene turned her head in the direction of the howl. She just knew something else was here. She quickly looked around for a lance she could use, and found one, picking it up. She started trying to find the man that created the howl, and ran to where she thought he was heading to. "He'll be somewhere around here...just need to look carefully..." she muttered.

Eton turned his head in the direction of the howl in his attempt to salvage. Serene had already gotten herself ready. But she was jumping to conclusions that it was an enemy.

"Careful Serene, it might not be a threat. You never know." He said readying his new iron dagger. "I don't want you jumping to conclusions." He looked around following slowly after her.

Tekun continued to stay behind Tara, he ignored the howl, he knew well enough he could handle a threat, but did not want to face anything. He was unnerved at the moment, he would leave Serene and Eton to invistegating it.

Serene stopped and turned towards Eton. She took this time to clear her mind and think about it. "It could be logical...but I just can't trust this feeling." she told him "A man with a howl like that isn't perfectly sane..." She began to slowly approach the man who ran off, hoping to corner him at one point.

Gabriel peeked around the corner of a building. Nobody was there. He jogged down the ally and found himself closer to the group than he had expected. He reached for the dagger on his belt and glanced around for Lucifer, who was nowhere to be found. He must have ran for safety... Gabriel smiled he suddenly felt giddy; it was like hide and seek with his grandmother. He held his knife close to his chest, sneaking forward. Until one of the people turned and met his eyes, like they had known where he was.


Rana was confused when the man had appeared. He hadn't felt any kind of presence... It had been less organized than the minds of the starving dogs lining big cities. He shuddered and stretched out his mind, deliberately searching. When he found what he was looking for it was warped, out of proportion. Images filled his head of childish, playful memories and satanic pictures of gore and death. He turned and looked into the face of the man he presumed to be insane. "He is there." Rana motioned towards Gabriel with his hand.

"He is there."

Eton heard rana speak up and point. He proceeded with caution, trailing after Serene. "Hello?" He said questioning. "If there's someone there, come out, we're friendly, don't worry." He was trying to handle the situation as best as he could. He was nervous yet, needless to say.

Serene stopped and began to move backwards. Something freaked her out about the man. She dropped the lance and dropped to the ground, crawling away backwards. "The feeling around him isn't right..." she muttered, looking into his direction "I need to get out of here..." She continued crawling back, bumping into Eton along the way. It caused her to stop moving.

Tania felt clean, fresh, and at peace with herself again. A good lady must be presentable, she told herself, looking at the clean reflection of herself in the river. She took up all the clothes and items that she had put on the rocks to dry by the heat of the sun. Suddenly, she heard a howl, she looked around nervously, Windy stomped her feet nervously and nudged at Tania. Tania, put on her clothes and armor, then put Windy's body in armor as well. She mounted Windy, whispering in her ear for her to be quiet. Windy flapped her wings, and they slowly raised off of the ground, she had no lance, so her only choice was to use the pan that she kept in her pack, she was grateful for all the stuff her servants had packed. They flew towards the revolting city and landed near the gates, away from the main part of the city.

The revolting corpses were still strewn about the streets. She took a last deep breath of fresh air, and they entered the city, Tekun was still cowering, the poor child. Tara was still there, and so was the other man, but Rana, Eton and the....brat, were still gone. They clopped towards him, and she asked, while looking around cautiously "Where are the others?" She gripped her pan nervously, but held it firm and still.

"This is your what?" She would say in an almost aggressive tone, suddenly taking a much deeper interest. He was connected somehow..just then the howl would take her by surprise, causing her to turn about face in its direction. With a much more gentle voice, she turned back to tekun. "This is your what?.." She didn't really need the answer.. she understood from his expression what it was..

The bodies were somewhat fresh.. this massacre didn't happen very long ago.. when they found him, he was a bloodied mess..does he know what transpired? is there a danger lurking close by?. Tara continued on, regardless. "Do you know what happened here at all tekun?.." her voice was somber now, as the full realization set in..
