So, uh... Hello world. I guess I'm Kirus. I've always gone with the name Claxus, but I tried to sign up weeks ago, made a few accounts but none of them were getting the registration e-mail (hotmail and AIM mail both don't work here?)... Getting impatient I just tried my 'educational e-mail' and it worked. It was sad. There's like no way to contact anyone about registration... Oh well. At last I am here and I didn't explode from wanting to join in in all the discussions I've been reading here.
That aside... I guess I'm Kirus. The Smash series is my favorite fighting games. And yes I play Blazblue and all those complex 2D fighters, but really, the Smash series is just... 'Simple is best.' All about timing, reaction, mindgames, and all that, and more about mobility and dodging, rather than memorizing big combos and having to play blocking guess-games and simple mobility with not much maneuvering. If that makes any sense to anyone. I've always loved Super Smash Flash 2, but I'll be honest, I always got pretty bored having only the AI to accompany me, because face it, a game like this focuses on the human mind and intricate timing and movement, while an AI can only do so much in a game of this nature that flows so freely. Sorry, I'll cut to the chase here and leave this sort of talk in other places on the forum. Long story short, my favorite Nintendo characters are Pit and Kirby, and thus my mains... But in this game I go with Sora over Pit for obvious reasons, but in the end it's not too bad. They're both spikey brown hair shonen, disjointed hitbox, Sora's Up-B is slightly 'flighty,' he has a controllable projectile, great aerial game, among other similarities... But anyway, I'm dying of hype to get into the SSF2 competitive scene now that the game will have online. So I'll be around here from now on... By the way, I have a passion and one track mind for mecha, that's my best personality trait. _________________ Don't deceive, don't be deceived. Don't show weakness, show your spirit, that is all.  |

Hats off to everyone for the welcome. I may not post much now, but I'll surely work my way into the community here. I like to discuss game aspects a lot, so I'm going to try and get into the back room team when the new demo's out.
