Tania smiled at Tekun "Don't worry about Windy, she's one of the mildest and gentlest of Pegasuses" she hugged Windy's neck and the pegasi neighed happily. "She's like a sister to me...in a sense" She helped the boy to get on Windy's back, then climbed on as well. "Shall you ride with us Rana?" she asked politely.

Barbas nodded, shooting at the Gulpen as they rushed up at them. He alternated between shots, one at the Gulpen on the left, then one at the one to the right. Barbas missed most of the shots, and decided to aim a bit more carefully, taking careful aim at he Gulpen to the left and firing, a well placed arrow going straight for it's head.

The arrow pierced through the creatures head and it fell. The one remaining continued to rush and then leapt up onto the area where the other archer's were.

"Get back! Gain so- Gaaaah!" The commanding archer shouted as the Gulpen impaled him with his razor like claws and then rushed at another archer. He raised his bow but was unable to as the Gulped opened its mouth up wide, about a large as a frog's would be at that size. It clamped down on the man as he screamed. It shook its head back and forth a little as half the man dangled from it's mouth and then lifted his head up and swallowed him.

Barbas' eyes widened at the sight, he grabbed several arrows, firing off one after another at the Gulpen. Hopefully that little snack slowed him down. He thought, as he reached for more arrows to fire at the creature.

The creature looked at the fleeing group of archer's ad began charging, acting seemingly uneffected by the arrows as it dashed towards the group, three swordsmen charged the beast as the group ran by. The creature swatted one away knocking it off the the hill and into the battle below and impaled and another.

Barbas nodded, remembering the words. Aim for the forehead. He closed one eye, placing the bow directly in front of his face and awaiting an opening. As the creature impaled, he fired off an arrow, straight at it's forehead. Barbas grabbed another arrow, readying himself once more.

The wind blew throwing the arrow off course enough so that it would scave the creature. It let out a cry of pain as it ripped the flesh from it's body. The solider took the opportunity to stab the creature, knocking it to the ground for but a moment. He used the sword to pin it. As he reached for it, the creature lifted it head just enough to bite his legs. It then began to consume the man as he tried to crawl away, but kept getting dragged closer. In no time, he was devoured.

Barbas quickly shot another arrow at the Gulpen while it was pinned, this time accounting for the wind. He was confident in the shot, and turned his back, firing down at the battle below. Being careful not to his any of the men wearing blue, only the ones wearing red.

The creature let out a cry as the arrow pierced its throat. Then it lay there still and dead. The battle below was raging yet. The remaining archer's ran back and continued to fire into the sea of men below. From the looks of things, the battle would be over soon.

Barbas turned around has he heard the Gulpen screech, smirking as he saw it lay there. He turned again, redirecting his attention below. He would fire arrows at everything wearing red which he saw moving. Almost done, so soon.

"We should get going immediately" Tara suggested, hands on her hips now, a rather groggy look upon her face. "The sooner the better" she grasped at a small sac laying by the tree she had slept it, holding what small amount of goods she had brought. "So if you're all about ready.." she had been rather impatient indeed, not liking the danger this area clearly presented; she had half expected wolfen to come upon their makeshift camp in the middle of the nights darkness.

Rana nodded and approached and got on the pegasus as well. Eton looked at Serene. "Go get your pegasus, I think it's time we left." Serene did so and Eton mounted it after taking the supply bag. "Tara, Get on as well." He said. "It should make travel a great deal easier."

If it hadn't been for the fact she'd be walking otherwise, she would have ignored the offering; sighing to herself she approached the winged stead, slipping herself onto it and behind Eton, with barely enough room to spare. Atleast the storms have died down for the time being.. she thought to herself, disliking the transportation method.

Eton looked back at Tara.

"You alright?" he asked her. "You don't seem to like this very much do you, I hear you sighing to your self back there. Want me to get off so there's more room?" He asked her.
