Hey Great tutorial I made something like this It's probably still not very good, But at least it's somewhat good right? Plus it's my first sprite I ever made. -Edit-Fixed the broken link.

That's actually a good sprite it just needs more shades. That's extremely good for a first sprite. This was my first sprite: It was bitmap but photobucket converts bitmap into jpg.

Your sprites are good too from when you first started, but I bet you're way better now. Oh and use tinypic It's better.

No, photobucket is the best. He just needs to save it as a .png.

I just saved that one like that because I did not know anything about spriting. Now I save everything as png.

I will give you my critique on your sprite R.E.B. Since it's your first sprite I won't be that harsh on you. 1. Never pillow shade. The entire sprite has pillow-shading all over it. 2. Colors need more contrast. You have too many dark colors on the skin and too many light colors on the pants. You'll need to balance the colors. 3. Make defined outlines first before you start shading. For your next sprite, I suggest you show the outlines (line art) first. Do not use the line tool, use the pencil tool or some other tool. 4. Learn how to make better body proportions. Apparently, your sprite's body parts are not in proportion. Learn from the stuff I said, you'll get better hopefully. These are my first 100% custom sprites as of June 23, 2008. Now, my latest 100% custom sprites. Charizard by TriggerX, Toon Link by Zazz, Bowser by ZXO, Lucario by Nave, Link and Zelda outlines by Zazz. All the other sprites are mine.

I'm sorry if it sounded or looked like a tutorial to you Chaosvii7, but it's not a tutorial. As you can see from the first sentence of my post. It's critique.

Yo! I got a JUS tutorial, too. http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/gg184/Chaosvii7/JUSTutorialwithfixes.pngMake sure you post just the URL. The actual file is huge. BTW, For the Captain Falcon thing, This was before I found Korah's new CF stance in his old gallery, and before I knew he was going to resume spriting. I figured I'd try to do what I needed for my Smash Bros. Game myself. Failed, as per usual with these kinds of things. Just in case you guys wondered.
