I found a Falcon 'tech' that allows you to use a reverse ftilt while in the running animation while sliding a bit. The timing is kind of hard and I can't think of any useful application, but it looks kind of cool and I thought I'd throw it out here to see if any of you guys can think of a use for it. To do it, make sure you're in the running animation (not the dash one) and simply press in the opposite direction and attack at the same time. Might take you a few tries to get the timing down, and even once you do it's kind of hard to pull off. EDIT: You can't be holding down dash while doing the attack.

This actually has great use in neutral! If you are dash dancing around, and your opponent comes in, you can punish the mis-spaced attack with this retreating ftilt.

This works for all characters. Discovered it some days ago, but I thought everyone knew about it. But jes, it is really good for a surprise attack and stuff.

Then this tech becomes more useful for a character based on their ftilt and movement speed then. Characters that benefit from this tech a lot would probably be Falcon, Marth, MK, and Fox off the top of my head. There are others, but I'm not really thinking about it lol.

Sheik would also be a good one since her F-tilt leads into stuff and it's pretty quick.

Confirmed it works for every character, distance they slide seems to be affected by run speed, but not definitively. For example, Sonic is quick but doesn't slide at all, whereas Black Mage slides for a decent amount whilst being quite slow.
From a quick bit of testing, best users seem to be (not in any particular order): Sheik (best combo potential) Lloyd Ichigo Metaknight (amazing ftilt) DK Black Mage (slides the second furthest, comes out fast) Falcon (slides the furthest, knockdown at ~40%)

Friction/traction my boi. BM has a very low deceleration value and an average runspeed so he feels slippery, while Sonic has a very fast deceleration and a high runspeed so he feels precise on the ground.

Captain Falcon - Ledge Attack updated graphically
- New effects for Falcon Kick
- Max jump speed slightly lowered
- “Gentleman Jab” added
ooh baby new falcon kick animation is sexy as hell falcon also has new colour palettes on his costumes(!!) kool-aid red costume to match marth emerald green looks even more badass now not noticing too much of a difference on jump speed atm, he even feels a little crisper in the air, that's probably just placebo tho gentleman appears unchanged, perhaps there's a bit more knockback but it's still not significant, doesn't knock down until 80%

Back-air has a much better hitbox now. You can actually hit small characters with it reliably now (lookin' at you, Kirby).

Is it just me or was uair changed too? I'm finding it a lot easier to get uair strings now. EDIT: I think it's due to the jump speed thing

I think nair and dtilt send opponents a *bit* further away horizontally than before. First hit of nair has certainly changed.
uair seems *better* now, can't really put my finger on why

It has more KB at low percents, but I think it may have lower KB scaling. For instance, unless Bomberman's weight was made drastically lower the uair puts him into tumble at 30%, compared to 36% last demo.
