With a slight grunt, she was smacked into a collision with the boy, falling onto the earthen ground with Tekun clung close. The corpse of the large beast having hit directly where she had been. Her sync with the netherworld had been immediately severed when he tackled her. Perhaps for the best, her magic energy had dispersed with her over exertion.

She regained her sense of awareness, as if re-establishing her mind to this world. "Hmm?" She'd raise her head, running her hand across her cheek, groggy. "Tekun?" She asked, spotting the boy desperately clung to her, then the large body behind them both. She realized then and there that he had saved her from a crushing demise.."Heh.. Im in your debt.." she said with a compassionate grin as she ran her other hand across the boys upper back.

Barbas sighed. "I don't." He replied simply. "But I do see the fear in your eyes. I can't kill a man who has been abandoned by his own. It wouldn't be very fun." He looked up, still seeing no sign of Violet or Lex near. "See, this is why I travel alone. You don't have to worry about someone abandoning you when you need them, or needing to go back for someone. Obviously your partner thinks more for some girl he just met than you. Some teammate you have there."

Leon gave a grumble and lay his head on the ground and went over all he had done. He had done some cold and heartless things, but there were some kind acts in there. Stuff he wouldn't normally do. He gave a grumble, he wondered if Lex would abandon him.

(On another note, Eton recieves a C in Daggers, Tara recieves a C in Dark magic and Nechis recieves a D in axes.)

OOC: Well I had planned to post something else but...my brother got on my computer while I was away...so yeah

Violet didn't know who to help in this predicament she wanted to cover her ears and smother out the man's screaming. Suddenly the man stopped screaming, she panicked, was he dead? She looked over the rock where she was hiding, and saw the figure of Barbas in front of the fire holding something in his hand, something thin. "Oh my muse!" she gasped "Barbas is going to skewer the man" She hoped Lex would stay in his hiding place, wishing that she had learned to sing the song of enchanted sleep. She hopped over the boulder and bounded towards the camp fire. She reached up for a branch above her head and pulled swung herself to the other branch like a crazy squirrel. She was determined not to let Barbas cannibalize the poor man. "Don't eat him!" she yelled while leaping to the next tree. "No one deserves to be eaten" she yelled. Violet then realized that if she wasn't careful he would eat her as well, unless he was too full. She contemplated her predicament while standing near the branch. Barbas was standing nearby with a blazing arrow "Probably planning on setting another tree on fire..." she gathered up every ounce of courage she had while hiding behind the trunk of the tree so that he wouldn't attempt to shoot her she yelled again "Don't eat him!"

Barbas raised his eyebrow at the girl, as he yelling back. "I'm not going to eat him!" Barbas was disgusted at the thought. "I'm wouldn't eat any man!" Barbas continued to thaw him out. "And I thought you were leaving? Weren't you and that other guy going to elope or something and leave this man here to die?" He questioned, looking over at her. "How could you even think I'd eat a man!?"

"Elope? Free spirits do not elope" stated Violet "'Sides I just met the man, geesh" She hopped down from the tree, very relieved that she wasn't going to be eaten and that she wasn't going to be witnessing any man eating. She smiled at Barbas' last question realizing that her reaction was quite a bit over the top, and she shrugged "Well....I don't know" she said "I guess I may have jumped the gun a bit."

Barbas rolled his eyes as he turned his attention back to Leon. His leg was nearly thawed out by now, just his ankle and foot was frozen now. "You can continue to leave, now. I won't be eating him." He stated again, sighing as he looked at the Leon's ankle. The ice was growing smaller and smaller as it melted. "Won't be long now." He mumbled. loud enough for Leon to hear him speak.

Leon lay on the ground hearing only bits and pieces of what was said.

"Eaten?" he muttered and felt dizzy. His head pounded and he began to feel sick. There was a sharp burning pain in his leg.

"I....I don't feel well." He muttered and then gave a cough. "What...the hell..I...think...I need medical treatment."

The lunge of the dragon's neck had hit him hard, but he stood strong, holding against the force. Nechis was breathing heavily in an attempt to fill the dry lungs that sat in his chest, to no avail. It was no longer important that his pressure had risen, for the dust that caked his back effectively clogged the wounds. They would surely become infected soon, but for the time being, he wasn't succumbing to the hands of death. His eyes remained open as he struck the ground, as they peered straight ahead. The cavalier had been thrust into a building. The structure had quickly began to deteriorate, and before Nechis could do a thing, the man had been trapped beneath the debris. If the axeman had the slightest bit of energy, he would attempt to help, but even the burning desire to aid couldn't fight off the fatigue that was slowly plaguing his body. Tufts of dirt flew into the air as he gave out a dry cough. He could breath freely now, and it helped him keep his body active in an attempt to stand up. The young man got on his knees, and after failing to make it onto his feet, he stumbled backwards and leaned on a ruined wall of a building. Although he would be of absolutely no use at this point, he could observe the rest of his comrades fight off the final beast. He hadn't expected the next turn of events, when another orb flew gracefully through the air, to collide with the fiend. It's movement was fast, and it quickly hit its target. The void ate away at the beast, and it became completely oblivious that Eton was aiming to deliver the finishing blow. The sight passed through Nechis' mind quickly, and it didn't register completely. He was in no condition to think. The fatigue was swiftly eating away at his rational thought. A call of a being just outside was the last thing that met his ears, and after clearing his throat and calling out a raspy "I am.", the orange-haired man fell forward, collapsing on the ground.

Lex had moved from under his bush and was hiding behind a tree near the camp. Ha, I knew it... he couldn't kill him. Nicely done, Leon. I'll learn to trust your judgment better from now on. he thought as he shrugged. "So, are you going to allow me to help my friend? Or will you continue to shoot arrow after arrow at me? I must say, I have no intention of killing you. Although, I think a good punch in the face would be enough to compensate for you hurting my partner, over there." He kept his guard up. "Also, Miss Violet.. do you know any songs of healing or stamina? I think it would benefit Leon greatly, at this point."

Barbas got up from the ground, looking over to Lex. "I will kill you, or give my own life trying." He picked his bow up from the ground, using the arrow he had set on fire as to not waste another one. He wasn't going to fire the arrow off right then and there, he would wait for an opportunity to approach. His eyes were narrowed, as he examined Lex's body. The momeny he moved, Barbas would shoot at him.

Violet thought for a few seconds, tapping her chin idly while thinking "Nope" she said dismally "I don't know any healing songs...yet. But I can sing a song that will boost his energy." She paid little attention to the knocking of Barbas's arrow. She took out her lute and strummed it, then hummed a note harmonically. She strummed away happily until the peak of the magic atmosphere was reached within the camp, it felt like electricity surging around her. Violet opened her mouth and let the words of the song flow from her lips. She had the unusual and quite strange smile on her face that came upon her when singing the song trick. "Why did it have to be such a funny song?"she thought to herself while singing, and giggling. The weapons in the area that had broken free from her spell were caught in the magic once again, this time she made sure the magic touched everything in their vicinity. She rendered all weapons dull and useless, swords lost their sheen and sharpness, Barbas's arrow became as useful as a dull pencil. Violet giggled "If you two must fight, fight with your fists instead of hiding behind your weapons" She abruptly stopped playing and the magical buzz stopped ringing in her head. Violet walked over to Leon's side "Is there anything I can do to help you?" she asked sympathetically.

Gabriel tip-toed wearily towards the dragons, both now bleeding and dead. He poked his head around the corner and saw the people who had killed them. He looked at his heal staff, then at Tara. The girl was injured. He grumbled and looked around for Lucifer, who would never approve, before jogging in their direction and trying to recall how exactly the staff worked.

"Fists?" He questioned. "Why would I do that? Even a pencil could go through someone's eye." He stated. as a smirk ran across his face. He looked down at Violet, not sure what to do next. I could use her as a hostage, if need be. the smirk quickly went away. "Then again, who needs a pencil when you could just beat someone unconscious." Barbas dropped his bow, along with the arrow. As the sound of the bow hit the floor, he began to walk calmly toward Lex.

Leon began to feel his throat swell a little, closing up slighty, making it more difficult to breath, it occured to him that it was an alergic reaction. He looked to the girl, he hadn't noticed before, but she was easy on the eyes.

"Get....me out of here." He pleaded. "It's becoming...harder to breathe...I think, i'm alergic to it."



Julius yawned and crossed his arms.

"What do you think we should do?" Julius asked. "Get a fire going?"



Tekun held on to Tara tightly as he felt her hand run down his back.

"Heh.. Im in your debt.."

He was at a loss for words, all he did was hold on and began to sob slightly. He was glad he hadn't lost Tara as well.

Eton held on to Serene as he waited for a response, he looked around to see a man with a stave. He began to wave him over.

"You, over there, she need's help." He said to Gabriel frantically. "Please."
