OOC: Took you long enough, bob

Synkus stares at the man who caught the Shark Pokemon and whips out his Pokedex. "No data available", it reads. He sighs and walks back to his cabin.

OoC: Hey at least I did it. That was hard for me.

By the way everyone else except JD_Klang was accepted. I'm limiting myself to eight players for now, and JD didn't make the cut... and if you don't see your character on this list but applied before this point let me know.

Jason watched as the man effortlessly caught the pokemon, while remembering the struggle Growlithe, his second pokemon, put up before he caught him.
"we need to become like him," he said to the dratini that was sitting on the rail next to him.

[[Three new eeveelutions?]]

Creis stood still on the ship's deck for a few minutes, the gentle sea breeze blowing his long, messy hair this way and that. He took a deep breath of the fresh air and began to exit the ship. "Hm, I wonder what that thing was," he thought to himself, thinking of the strange shark-like creature. "Perhaps there's more to this island than I originally thought." His thoughts were cut abruptly as he tripped on his way out, nearly faceplanting into the sand. He regained himself, sweeping sand off of his hands. "Now then, I don't need to see Professor Cotton, so I guess it's free roam for now. Where first?" he muttered to himself, beginning toward the forest.

(I thought that might get at you. Oh, look a clever little plot event.)

Crunch, crunch
Creis notices what had made him trip, a flier of some sort. On it was an eevee and it's evolutions, along with three black pictures, a question mark in each. If examined closer the words would say, "Do your part. Help with eeveelution studies, research suggests there are three points on Atlantica that may cause an eevee to evolve, like the two areas in Shino. If you would like to know more please come to the Magikarp Castle Inn, just West of Professor Cotton's lab."

Three pink bird pokemon zip past Creis and into the forest. They cry, "Vige, vige!", and seem to be playing tag.

It's tough going for Synkus trying to get to his cabin. People keep bumping into him so they can leave ship. When he finally arrives a red haired woman is backed up against his door, apparently trying to avoid the flow of bodies.

The gray-haired fellow walks up to Jason.

"An admirer, I see. You have a fine Dratini, may I have a closer look at her?"

His yellow eyes have something strange about them, but are not untrustworthy.

[[Actually, it's Shinou, but, meh.]]
Creis examined the flier, interested in what the three forms might look like. The flier was thrown out of his hand as three birds swiftly zoomed past him. "Hm, the Eevee's can wait. I gotta see what those are," he mumbled to himself. He grabbed an empty pokeball and ran after the pink birds.

Jason looks at the man, unsure what to do.
"Alright," he said after a few seconds. "but first, may I have your name?"

OOC: Actually, it's Hokkaid- I mean fish like contine- I mean Sinnoh.

"Excuse me", he says to the lady. "You're blocking my cabin.."

((Well it's Shino now. Shazam DM discretion. But it is Shinnoh.))

The woman looks at Synkus confused for a moment.

"Oh umm... sorry. I can't seem to wade my way to my room."

She steps to the side, finishing with, "May I wait in your room for a minute or two?"

Kitty-cat

"Ord White."

He picks up Jason's Dratini, stroking it the entire time. He looks into it's eyes, examines it's scales, and checks it's fins.

"Yes, yes. A fine pokemon. When she gets to be a Dragonite come see me, I'll give her something nice. But if you'll excuse me I have somewhere I need to be."

With that he walks away and off the ship.

Longerthanlong

Creis catches up to the three just in time to see the heart-breasted one, the female, knock-out the two tear-breasted males. Seeing you she begins to angrily call, "Vi vi vige!."

Jason watched the man go, then stared blankly at Dratini.
"He's going to give us something when you become a Dragonite?" he asked, while preparing to leave.

As he walked out, he noticed someone chasing a big, pink bird-like pokemon.

Creis held his ground, determined to catch whatever this thing was. "Alright," he called, "Duster, come on out!". He threw a small red and white orb through the air. The orb exploded in a large flash of white light, revealing a small, biped red lizard. It's tail was ablaze, a measure of the pokemon's life. "Duster," Creis cried, "Fire Fang!"
"Char, char!" Duster replied. His teeth glowed a bright red as the fire began encircling his incisors. Duster leaped at teh pink bird, teeth ablaze, aiming for the underbelly of the beast with a Fire Fang attack.

The bird is caught by the fangs and falls to the ground with the Charmander. She tries to flail away, but seeing that is failing she begins to peck Duster in the snout.

A tall woman, with green hair put up into a bun answers the door. She has a white lab coat and a set of small glasses.

She adjusts her glasses and asks, "Hello there, is there something I can help you with...?"

Jason wanders around the town, trying to figure out what to do next. his stomach growled, and he was tired. People were running around in a hurry, going in every direction. Jason decided to find somewhere to stay the night before heading out. He walked up to a young man who was sitting on a bench and said "excuse me sir, are there any places to stay around here?"

"What? Oh, well there's the Magikarp Castle Inn, Happiny Hotel, or the Pokecenter if your low on cash." He smiles. "So trainer or breeder?"
