The problem with MvC3 isn't the balance. Everyone except for a select few characters can do crazy powerful stuff.

The problem is that the fighting system is so incredibly simple.

If MG is the only place you've seen people using those sorts of terms and getting pissy about it, you can't have been to very many different internet-based communities.

Well MVC3 was built to introduce both hardcore fans and beginners to the world of MVC using easy-to-play controls that even a 7 year old can create massive combos with.

If i would have one tiny complain on something, it would most likely be Sentiel. Even though his HP has been reduced from 1,300,000 to 950,000 , His power level is still too high

You can't be serious. People are still whining about Sentinel? You guys overestimate him way too much; he's not really that good, he's just the best at killing beginner players.

It's retarded complains like this to why MvC3 is trash. Capcom keep listening to the wrong people. The people that bearly even know how to play the game. And Sentinel didn't even deserve that health nerf. Was mid-tier at the time. He's a huge target.

Also, a game should not be easy enough for anyone to win. When everyone can win, then no one is truly good at the game. Meaning, no real fun or skill if you can win without trying.

Well, Capcom still have time to make patch update. I don't expect any special improvements to the characters or gameplay physic in the future, but I still want to see how Capcom will mess it up even more.

The only patches you'll be seeing for MVC3 is health Nerfs and removing glitches/infinites and adding new stuff (I hope spectator mode will come out soon).

According to Niitsuma, spectator mode is apparently technically impossible with a game like this (i.e. fast-paced,three-on-three, visual-fireworks-everywhere gameplay). So I guess you're stuck with this:

I'm going to just throw my hat out there really late in the discussion and say I blame a lot of this game's shortcomings on overhyped expectations.

I mean, both the gaming companies and fans made a HUGE deal out of this game, advertising was really big, the trailers were utterly epic... And what do they churn out? Half of MvC2's roster with the best clones replaced with crappy ones (Seriously, HOW DOES SHE-HULK GET IN OVER VENOM?!)

I don't consider it a terrible game, I just see it as a mess of missed oppertunities I think Marvel and Capcom WANT to fix with DLC, but most likely never will. I feel more overcome with disappointment than actual hate for gameplay

Venom was removed not only due to graphical limitations, but on upon Marvel's request. She-Hulk is a very inventive and enjoyable player.
