I completely disagree. You're all just entering with a closed mind. SS Link arguably has more of an interesting design then TL, TL's is just designed with realistic features. SS Link, and SS Zelda would fit in just fine. They redesigned Shiek for TL, so I'm confident that they would do the same thing in this case. I honestly don't think Ganondorf will be in SSB4, and will be replaced by Ghirahim.

I'm not closed-minded; it's one thing to have a preference, another thing to have a closed mind. DMC fans are what you call closed-minded.
I prefer Twilight Princess's Link over Skyward Sword's Link. It's as simple as that. I completely enjoyed Link when he was in Wind Waker, but I just outright dislike Skyward Sword's. I like OOT's Link better than SS as well.
Honestly, despite the fact I like Twilight Princess's the best, I want Ocarina of Time, although it probably won't happen. There was an idea somewhere that I can't remember where, I think it might have been here, that Young Link could use the masks' forms, almost like Pokemon Trainer. Although you couldn't use Young Link himself. So that'd be fine in my opinion; it'd look awkward to have Young Link from one game then Link from another. At least in Brawl, Toon Link was the 'main' Link of his games.

Anyway, I still stand to wanting OOT more than any other incarnation. Hopefully OOT3D makes it happen..

I don't see intentional backtracking in SSB4's future, but who's to say it won't happen? Plus there's always alt costumes. Maybe they'll take advantage of the new hardware to make different incarnations of the Zelda characters possible.

I simply think the design would not fit because of SS's Cel-Shaded graphics, aside from that, I have NOTHING against the SS designs.

No offense to anybody, but I do think Toon Link just looks kinda dull in brawl.

I don't think anyone is taking offense to that statement, just shaking their head at it. They did a flawless job of taking TL from a completely cel-shaded environment and transforming him, while retaining 100% of his charm. I'm confident that they could do the same with SS's cast.

They did do a good job of transforming him, I just think he seems kind of bland in comparison to regular Link. (In Brawl, that is.)

Would be interesting to see some non cloned moves in the next game if TL returns, they could get some ideas from Phantom Hourglass, and Spirit Tracks, and hell even something from Wind Waker. Pretty much the only reference to WW is his up taunt, victory animations, and the Pirate Ship stage.

But since you probably meant in terms of character design, i dunno i kinda like TL's cartoony appearance to be very fitting for a game like this, Link is just too serious looking in his TP appearance, something that i can see being replicated somewhat for his SS appearance. I know Link is supposed to be serious, but alongside cartoonish characters, seems out of place in a way.

What? No. All of my no. Ganondorf/Ganon is relevant the series as a whole. Smash should be repping "Zelda" not "Skyward sword because it's the most recent. Who gives two f*** 'bout anything else" I'd really like to see one thing Ghirahim actually has over Ganondorf.

you lose that trio if you replace ganondorf. ghirahim doesn't have the triforce of power. he's the physical manifestation of the anti-master sword ffs. he's also not any sort of heavyweight and would be in basically every way totally different to ganondorf.
he'll be in the game probably but he won't replace ganondorf.
