OOC: You know how there are elements? Fire, water, wind, etc.?
Neutral is like an energy, but with no element.
I'll just say energy if you'd prefer that?

PS: It's hard to take this fight seriously with that avatar of yours.

Creis recovered from his failed attack, jumping back to avoid any retaliation. "This may be tougher than I thought," he muttered under his breath. Creis jumped and aimed his sword for Nate's head.

Nate ducks and rolls under Creis while slashing with his sword, attempting to disarm Creis without hurting him too badly.

OOC: Nate gets his powers from the ring he wears.

As Nate rolled, Creis swiftly sturck his sword in the path of Nate's attack. The sound of metal against metal echoed harshly throughout the arena. Creis jumped back, just out of range, in case of further retaliation.

"Hm... Not bad. But seriously, stop holding back. You've got to have some other powers beside skills with a blade. What am I to you, a helpless animal?... Let me rephrase that..."

Creis stood still, sword ready to block incoming blows, silently watching Nate. This cat should not have presented this much of a challenge. He felt almost ashamed for not being able to have killed him immediately. "This ends now," he whispered. Only one was leaving here alive.

Nate looks at Creis skeptically.
"What did I even do, anyway?"

"What have you done!?" Creis repeats. "I am somehow teleported to this arena, and the only one here is you. You expect me to believe this is just a coincidence?" Creis was angry, he was sure that Nate had something to do with his transportation to this void. "Have at you then!" Creis yelled, running headfirst at Nate.

Nate runs in the opposite direction and jumps off of the edge of the arena, only to reappear falling from the sky toward the platform.
"What the hell!?" He says as he falls.
Nate lands with a painful splat on the concrete.
"I'm okay!" He says.

[[For one, that was auto-hit, somehow. Second, you used script style emotion, that's bad. No asterisk language. Third, what the fuggin' hell!?]]

OOC: Bah, it was just a joke. Besides, the asterisks were to portray an action while he was talking.

[[You're still not supposed to use asterisks. Just use a sentence like, "'I know how you feel,' Nate said, holding back tears."
