I came into Beta expecting to play Bowser and that was about it, then my friend told me to play Pit while we were trying Beta out.
I'm now seriously considering dropping one of my mains to play Pit now. Good mobility, excellent combo ability, and solid kill options. Neutral B for zoning and harassment. Pit's a lot of fun to play in general which makes it more worthwhile. _________________ I have a signature because having a signature makes me cool, right? Nah |

Pit seems pretty easy to pick up and a lot of fun, however I'm wondering if the fact that he has so many multi-hit moves makes him kinda "vulnerable" to sdi ?

Same here, I know Pit's Side special is the one from smash 4, I think SSF2 pit also has 1or 2 less jumps than brawl pit. _________________ YouTube Video:

Nah, Pit always had 3 mid-air jumps. He also had the glide ability and the best/highest B-Up in brawl (not including the fact you can't use it again after you get hit out of it) _________________ |

Does D-tilt combo into side-spec at high percents on mid-weight characters? I know it does for fast fallers/big characters and it doesn't work on floaties. Its a really nice kill setup

He seems to be an interesting character, though his Neutral-B could use some minor buffs. The arrows feel wonky right now.

What combos does he have that do more than a couple hits? It seems like he has a hard time stringing together a lot of moves. I'm also worried about SDI invalidating a large part of his moveset, but I think his aerials might be too fast to SDI.

Apparently Power Shielding Pit's arrows will not reflect them back like most projectiles. Instead It'll just go right past your shield.

So, I am a Pit player, and I am looking to get better at competitve play. However, I'm not good enough yet to analyze my gameplay and pick out less obvious flaws or how to improve on them.
If anyone here is knowledgeble enough in competitive Smash Bros that they can analyze others matches and pick out problems as well as solutions, please reply. I uploaded 2 videos, one of my wins and one of my several losses. The quality is pretty bad, but I think it is manageable to be able to see whats going on. One thing that I do know is that I misinput much more often than I should, whick should be clear to see, however, I think my improvement needs to go past just less misinputs.
