Shadow certainly wouldn't be an echo of Sonic because of all the powers he has.

Nah, just in terms of classification. When they first showed off the echo fighter idea with Lucina and Dark Pit, I figured the last of the Sm4sh "true" clones would be included under that title, so I was pretty surprised when I saw he wasn't.


You know we're talking about echo fighters we'd like to see regardless of whatever restrictions they've got, right?

Not that it even matters, since the Sonic series has set the precedent for Shadow being a moveset clone of Sonic multiple times

Speaking of new fighters, which ones would you like? The only three I want so far are Sakura Kasugano from Street Fighter (check my YouTube video on that here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KiK5cG6B1zU), Blackheart from the fighting games Marvel Super Heroes, Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter, and Marvel vs Capcom 2, and Baby Bonnie Hood from the Darkstalkers games.

Dark Samus had more potential for attacks besides reusing Samus' attacks (phazon pillars, energy shields, that thing she did as an assist trophy in smash 4, etc) but is still used as an echo.

Shadow wouldn't exactly be unfitting with that criteria honestly, i'd also rather have him as a complete newcomer but for an echo I wouldn't mind including Shadow like that.

Plus not counting the many times he's had the same moves as sonic (SA2, Forces or other game i'm probably forgetting about)

Can we all agree that Bandana Dee should have been in the game? Cause he totally should have. Also Shadow should have been an Echo, would've made to much sense. Replace Daisy with Shadow.

The Boss as an echo of Snake would've been pretty cool. Make her much faster and lighter, change her Neutral-Special from the Hand Grenade to her gun The Patriot, alter a few of her attacks (or at least their animations) to reflect the CQC moves she performs in Snake Eater, change her Final Smash to something involving all of the Cobra Unit and of course give her unique taunts and victory animations

I also really like Daisy and I think that replacing her - especially for a male character when they're already the vast majority in the series - would be really dumb.

More than anything I want to drill this into people's heads - the character you want didn't have their spot taken from them by a character already in the game. If you want them in there too then that's fine, but stop saying [x character] should be in instead of [y character].
