lol yeah i don't think i would either. but it's been recommended in many blogs I've read and many different sites i have accounts on.

My password is compiled of random letters and numbers. I remember it just fine.

My password is random; it has nothing to do with my RL, username, sprites, MG or anything you'd expect. Its not even really a word. and to add on to that i added a number to it!

I saw this topic title and laughed.


How exactly is the webmaster going to find out who has a weak pass and who doesn't? He doesn't have access to any of the databases, and even if he downloaded a backup of our database using the admin control panel it's well-encrypted.

I think all the hacker's doing is like "I'm a mod. Gimme your pass." and getting them from users who don't seem to know any better. The hacker's gets all his images from ED - he could do better than that, surely - but just by this I'm pretty sure he's not even a script kiddie of any sort.

well did u write it somewhere else like in a word document and once you memorized it then deleated the document?

I used to keep my passwords on a piece of paper in my desk, since hackers still haven't mastered the art of reading what's in your drawers through the interwebz. Saving them on your computer would be idiotic, especially if you just name is "password.doc"...
