The dithering looks very Spray Can-y. Try the structure the texture a bit more perhaps?

Just try and tie the shades in together, not throw them everywhere.

you're on the right track your idea is good but it looks flipped to me lol

btw what is that platform? it looks dirty

and the rocks look too saturated and outlined for something in the bg?

It's a fighting platform, It there for storyline reasons. The rocks were given an extra shade of gray for saturating problems and to make it look like it about to rain, which is why the green grass is greener. thanks for noticing

I have a feeling this will be nearly perfect when I'm finished. The platform will receive a complicated shading treatment.
