the one you really like but never actually used on your team for whatever reason

for me it's Glaceon. love the design but the ice rock you need to be near to get it is always way too far into the game. by the time i get to it I've finalised my team. ultra sun was the absolute worst for this, it was in victory road of all places

Mine has to be Swampert. I mean, with that beast of a Pokemon on my team, I can kill any wild Pokemon, Trainer Pokemon, and even Gym Leader Pokemon in one or two hits!

i like lucario but i never played pokemon

i always wanted a gliscor or weavile in my heartgold team but sadly you can't use them in the main story (cause they either appear too late or their items aren't obtainable until you have the national dex or so i remember)

also houndoom that dog was really the best thing but i'm still mad you can only capture houndour on kanto
specially baffling cause it evolves at like level 24 so you'd think it'd be perfect for an early game pokemon but nope

I never used or liked eeveelutions until Pokemon Conquest. My partner eevee got it's evolve requirements coincidentally in the ice nation's final fight so it turned into Glaceon and I found out I liked it enough to try it out in the games, where it was a good poke I actually enjoyed. But if there is a poke I like adore and don't ever use it's got to be Froslass. It just doesn't have the stats to be both an ice type and on a late game/semi-comp team. Same for like Gorgeist and it being grass type.

glaceon is a good pick, i’d second that one. another i’d pick would be froslass, i love the way it looks and the idea of it but i don’t think i’ve ever used it in my team bc the dawn stone is rare and i like gallade. i feel this way about a lot of pokémon that are really hard to actually obtain but are super cool, like porygon z or electavire. just hit me that gen 4 had a lot of Cool Rare Pokés lol

you just have to trade with a friend for them

making them truly the hardest pokemon to get

i actually completed the ultra sun pokedex using only the gts

turns out people are nice and will trade you a slowking for a slowpoke holding a king's rock and things like that

can you believe there are people who don't unconditionally love pikachu from the bottom of their heart

pikachu is okay. i understand why people love it but i've never really felt that love myself. the hulk hogan of pokemon. well, minus the racism and ratting out people trying to start a union. at least, as far as we know.

pachirisu and emolga are better takes on the concept

plusle and minun and pichu are my fav “cute zappy rat” pokémon but pilachu owns and i will always love it

Emolga looks like 300% cuter when it's on the ground walking around and not in an awkward falling in style pose. The show did it more justice than the games by far.

if pikachu is the hulk hogan of pokemon does that make lucario the john cena of pokemon.

thinking about that makes me feel 8 years old again.
