I think he wants it to meteor.. right? (spike is fine though).

But isn't spike a better meteor?
meteor you can jump out of, spike you can't?

Exactly, and due to this spikes are usually highly controversial. As for my part, I really never understood why Link needs Dair to send people down at all if Im being honest.

The reason I don't want Link's D-Air to spike is solely because of how incredibly dangerous it would end up being, thanks in part to Link's falling speed, gravity and FAF on the attack.
I would rather have him with the superpower D-Air he currently has because it's significantly safer than going for a spike, it still kills quite well and it's not too bad of a move.

Every time I beat someone twice, they start using :link: and spam like little noobs they are. I was like "Oh my god... Now this is just sad."

As much as I like Link in Beta, this is just humiliating to the character when they start using him like that or even switch away from your favorite character to :link: just because you can't win with him/her.

I didn't mean any harm to any competitive Link players okay? I respect ya'll. But I had to get this out, if ever a player you beated several times switches to :link:. I'm better off running, because I can tell that the opponent is pretty much salty.

Although, I did ran into :link: mains, and they gave me a hell of blast! Really great matches. But when it comes to players that I mentioned above... Ruins the experience honestly and degrades the image of how the character is supposed to work.

EDIT: I mean come on. Forgot to mention this. (Although it's not SSF2 related, but it's Smash related) Didn't ZeR0 did a For Glory with Ike, and the same opponent he fights is so salty that he switches to Link? I mean even ZeR0 himself had trouble with him.

And I have to admit right now. Link is now stronger than ever before. As well as increased creativity with the Bombs. Really fun to use.

I never thought I'd see the day when people would run and use Link to win matches. I love that Link is finally getting the credit he deserves. Don't know what took people so long to realize this but hopefully more people catch on. He's been underrated for too long.

First of all, double post.
Second of all, is Link top tier now? Why are people starting to secondary him?

Was going to post this in the Bug Report thread, but it's a freak mess of clutch-cucks right, and didn't want this getting buried.

Uncharged Arrow 13%
Direct-hit from Bomb: 21%

That's about twice the damage they should bedoing. Based off the SFX from the crowd, it sounds like the hit-boxes are hitting twice.

They put the idea I said for having smash 4 links Hylian shield to protect his front while he crouches and put it in game PogChamp that's so cool (did it also work same way in other games? I only know it works in smash 4).

This should have been fixed in last night's patch, let me know if it wasn't

Hey, that's pretty good! :D

D-tilt is a move that not a lot of :link: players use, although it does have a lot of potential as a combo move.
Not to mention it spikes off stage, which would make it an excellent edgeguarding tool if the hitbox were bigger.
Which reminds me, are 2 frame punishes possible in the SSF2 engine?

Considering that we dont have the 2 frame window of not being invincible, nope :chibirobo: SSF2 has something called handboxes to determine if a char can grab the ledge, so you can still hit them before those connect for a pseudo 2 frame I guess

Does anyone remember Link's early spin attack animation?

I really miss it, since it looked like how it was in the official Smash games.
