I don't hate this honestly
This, I suppose, proves Danzo is an even bigger dickweed then I already thought he was. Danzo seems to have been greedy enough to wish death on the Uchiha to get his hands on as much Sharingan as he can handle.
As I've been thinking for too long, Danzo seems to be more the bad guy then Tobi or Pein or Orochimaru ever were.

Orochimaru just wanted Immortality, Pein wanted what he though was peace. Danzo is definantly worse.
As for Madara, he wants to rule the planet...what was Danzo's intentions with all those sharingan?

It's probable his intentions are just like Tobi's, world domination. That's why he wanted to be in charge during the meeting at the mountain top, to have control over whole legeons of elite ninjas. He probably wants Tobi dead because their two plans interrupt one another.
Odds are Danzo used Tobi's hate to kill off the Uchiha clan so he could harvest all those eyes. When he mentioned his eye and arm needing to be aided by Orchimaru's research, the eyes probably don't work properly because all the owners were dead when Danzo got them.
