In all seriousness though, the new Totoro is great. Some AA on the the eye might be cool, as well as fixing the jaggy shading above the nose.
Light source isn't 100% consistent. Shadow from the hat, highlights on the hat, thearmwesee could maybe cast a shadow on the body and thearmwedon'tsee's shading could be a little less diagonal.

Much better though.

You need to work more on Kiki/Jiji, but the colors are fine.

Jiji's fine for it's size, but I agree about Kiki; she doesn't seem to fit with the rest of the sprites, in that she looks...I dunno, like you spent less time on her. All the rest look a lot better. Not saying it's bad, but maybe you could invest in revamping her.

Yeah, I'm having trouble figuring out what to do to make her dress look better. I think she looks fine other than that. Only problem is that 2/3 of her sprite is her dress. :T

Hmmm... Maybe you could make a body an then the Dress?

While it looks better now, I still think that you could change the pose altogether.

It's a single frame for a base. The main point of the current sheet (and the bases in general) is so I have a combination of palettes, sizes/proportions, and general style for when I get to making animations for them in the future. The frames I have right now likely won't be used even in the idle animations.
I could try and make a new pose for her like I did for Totoro, but if the only minor problem is the pose, then I'm not going to bother for now. When I go back and fix No Face and Porco Rosso I might revisit her though.
