I really dislike the sounds they used when Ryu's attacks connect, ugh.

I Hate The Loud Shielding Sound When Yoou Shield ANYTHING... And Then The Street Fighter Commands Ugh!

I know what you mean. I get that all of his sound effects, the connecting hits and the perfect shield, are all supposed to replicate that nostalgic Street Fighter 2 feeling, but if anything it makes him feel more out of place compared to the other fighters.

Also, it just plain bugs me when I try to pull off a powered-up hadouken and instead end up doing a hurricane kick in the other direction.

well I mean that just means you have to practice more at it.

I Agree Its A Pain When I Try That... And I Noticed That When You Do The SF2 Commands Instead Of The B Button You Deal More Damage Or ( With The Shoryuken) More Chances Of Recovery.

hold the a button down instead of tapping it and you'll do more damage/go farther. you're probably doing it with the b button without even thinking about it

Yea I've Checked That As Well And Well I Hold It It Literally Just Makes It Faster Ya Theres More Damage But When You Initiate The Powered Up Hadouken You Have To Input The SF2 Command Its The Only Way....

I just played a random CPU to practice my Roy, and it matched me against Roy Koopa. Irony, coincidence, whatever you wanna call it, it's great.

i don't think holding down the button makes it do more damage, it just changes the distance (in terms of side-B and up-B) or the speed (hadouken)

Exactly, also you can make all of Ryu's specials completely safe by inputing the actual SF2 inputs, not only that but they also gain invincible frames. And Ryu has potential to be Sheik's counter due to the amount of things he can pull off the dude already kills at 75%, and has combo's into his kill moves.
