When I look at tiers, I'm always like "What the f*** am I looking at?"

Diddy Kong is terrible from what I see, and he's one of the highest. And yet, Link is a great character in my eyes, and he's almost the lowest. I just don't see it.

'Official' tiers are putting one person's opinions above another; Of which is why I hate tiers.

To me, that's a waste. Why give a character a powerful finisher when it's not even going to be used?

Because Brawl isn't really meant for competitive play. The fans do that. It's not like Guilty Gear, which literally removed two characters because they broke tournament standards. Brawl is more like a game that you pick up and play with friends, not gigantic tournaments and s***. I see Tournament Mode as more of fun than for actual tournaments.

Final Smashes were actually meant to appear in the first Super Smash Bros., but were held off till Brawl. I'm also sure, considering that the Wii U will make a bigger attempt to attract hardcore gamers, that the fourth Smash Bros. will follow a similar suit.

Hardcore gamers ≠ Using Smash Balls or any other items really.
You must have mixed up hardcore with casual, because there is no way the smash ball is balanced.
Someone could get KO'd and revive with a final smash ready to use. It's like any other item, since it doesn't factor in a player's skill with a character. This is why Final Smashes were banned from tourneys.

Move this discussion to the smash bros brawl topic.

It's possible for a game to be enjoied by both causals and hardcores. You don't have to hate on the other side because you don't do it.

Looks like it's up to me to rail this topic right in its arse.

Do you guys think that Marth will speak engrish in SSB4 since he has had a game in North America and if Awakening truly comes out in America, he'll be voiced in English?

I doubt it. He's had a japanese VA for three games, they'll probably keep it. I'm hoping Krom gets in.

Yeah, me too. There's a bunch of people though, that want Ike in more than Krom.
Ike had his time in the spotlight imo.

Also, I'm used to Marth's Japanese voice anyway, so that'd be a plus for me.

I actually think both Krom and Ike should be in SSB4, along with Marth, and if we're lucky, Roy. We also need an F-Zero newcomer, too.

Finally, someone else who wants Roy lol.

Seriously though, I hope to see Ike, Marth, Roy, and Krom in SSB4. For some reason, I don't believe that they'll all be playable though...

Also, who else could rep F-Zero in SSB4? I'm kinda stumped on that one...

I think Samurai Goroh would work.

Why would we need a clone to be brought back? Besides, Marth was superior in almost every way.

If Nintendo put Roy in SSB4 they would be: show

Roy was only used for promotional purposes. Plus, it would be redundant to bring him back. He was cut for a reason.

Hmm, yeah, I guess that could work. Who knows, he might be an unlockable or a boss of some sort, IDK.
